Re: DITA Map Manager showing broken references

To add to the weirdness of this issue, it appears that the only problem is a display problem. She can open topics, use conkeyref because the Editor sees the keys in the map, even though the map appears as if it were invalid. So what we have is the Map Manager complaining about the references, but ev...

Re: DITA Map Manager showing broken references

Thanks, Radu, we'll check into this.

I think we tried resetting the Global Preferences before to no avail. She even re-installed Astoria and there was no resolution. We'll keep digging.

DITA Map Manager showing broken references

Hi, We have a writer who is experiencing a problem with the DITA Map Manager. Any map she opens, appears to have all references broken. However, if I open the same map, all seems fine. She has uninstalled oXygen, including removing all remaining folders before reinstalling and the problem still occu...

Re: Webhelp with chunking and branch filtering

Hi Radu,

I ran it with OT 3.1.2 and some of the exceptions went away. Now, I can locate the actual problem references that are the true cause of the null pointer exceptions and can rectify those. Thanks for the suggestion. :D

Webhelp with chunking and branch filtering

We've encountered an issue that confuses me. This is the Webhelp bundled with oXygen 18. Using OT 2.5.4 We have a situation where we're building webhelp that contains branch filtering but the branches are inside chunks. At some point during the build, it appears as if the build looks for the ditaval...

Re: Oxygen Author randomly crashes

Hi Adrian,
The problem has gone away but the next time it occurs, I'll capture the crash report, if I get that option. However, as I remember it, the only dialog I get only allows me to close the application after Windows searches for a solution.

Oxygen Author randomly crashes

Oxygen 19.1 Dec. build on Windows 10 is crashing randomly. Environment includes MS Visual Studio Express 2015 running but files I'm editing are local. What else do I need to provide to identify what I can do to prevent this?

<state> element not displaying in full tag Author mode

In oXygen 19.0, the <state> element does not display when you specify full tags or full tags with attributes. It also doesn't display in block or inline tag mode. Boolean does display, though.

Re: @conkeyref with @conref

I forgot to mention. Based on what I saw, in case 2, the OT doesn't resolve the link at all so you get no output.

Re: @conkeyref with @conref

Hi Radu,

I would expect that if the target id is also incorrect, that the processing should treat it the same as a broken key; the target isn't located so it would look to the @conref for resolution. I assume this discussion is out of scope for this forum. Is it something to bring up to the TC?

@conkeyref with @conref

Hi, According to the spec, if a @conkeyref cannot be resolved, a processor should look to the @conref attribute to resolve the reuse. If both are not resolvable, the processor SHOULD issue a warning. However, with oXygen 19 and whatever DITA-OT is bundled, this is not the case. I'm unsure where the ...
