Webhelp search removes the plus sign when searching for keyboard shortcuts
Hi, When searching for keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl+Shift+A in a responsive webhelp, the + sign is replaced by whitespace. This causes the search results to show any topics that have Ctrl and/or Shift , and not necessarily the topics with the string Ctrl+Shift+A . I tried using quotation marks an...

Custom button to open site in a new tab
Hi, We have a custom framework for our Oxygen XML Editor and Web Author apps. In the custom framework, we recently added a button to facilitate writers accessing a Sharepoint site. This button works okay on desktop: the default browser is opened with the site. In Web Author, the preview window opens...

Validation error 'Invalid content reference, id part missing'
Hi, When inserting a conref of a glossary in a glossgroup topic and using the Reuse Content dialog box, the conref value doesn't include the id part. However, when doing a Completeness Check, we get the error 'Invalid content reference, id part missing'. Example: Conref inserted using the Reuse Cont...

Schematron error in OxygenXML 18
Hi, We use Schematrons to check our DITA content. For the moment, some of our authors use OxygenXML 21 and others use 18. We recently added the following QuickFix in one of our rules: <sqf:fix id="addProdname" use-for-each="//series/keyword/@conkeyref"> <xsl:variable name="n...

Hi Mihaela,
We hadn't been using the properties files. This fixed the problem. Thank you!
Grethel.

Re: Button disappears when using custom framework in Web Author
Hi, Changing the name of the framework to include the word 'ditamap' did work. I'm able to see all the buttons set in the custom framework. Thank you! However, there is another problem. When using the button 'Create a new DITA resource and insert a reference to it', our custom templates are not list...

Button disappears when using custom framework in Web Author
Hi, We use custom frameworks for the DITA maps and topics in the desktop app to add some buttons, and to set the templates and Schematron rules to use. However, when uploading these frameworks to Web Author, the button 'Create a new DITA resource and insert a reference to it' disappears when viewing...

Re: <abbreviated-form> not shown in pdf
Hi Radu,
Thank you for your quick reply. I will check if using conref is an option in our case.
We will have to move to Oxygen 21.1 as soon as possible anyways.
Thanks again!
Grethel.

<abbreviated-form> not shown in pdf
Hi, My team uses custom DITA plugins in Oxygen 18. When generating a pdf, the glossary terms that are not shown are the ones referenced with <abbreviated-form @keyref> that have <keyword @conkeyref> inside the <glossentry>. This is similar to the issue presented in https://www.oxygenxml.com/forum/po...

Re: Formatting results in the "Results pane"
Hello, Octavian.
Thank you very much for your suggestions. I really appreciate it.
At the beginning, I tried using the abstract patterns, but I didn’t get the results I wanted. I might go back to it and do more tests.
Thanks again,
Grethel.

Re: Formatting results in the "Results pane"
Hello, Octavian. Thank you for your reply. According to my question, the best solution is to create a list of words that should not be used. In fact, I forgot to mention before that, for each forbidden word, I suggest an alternative. That’s why I wanted to split the messages. Otherwise, it would be ...

Formatting results in the "Results pane"
Hello. I’m working on a Schematron rule that detects forbidden words in DITA topics and triggers warning messages in the Results pane , suggesting different types of solutions in each case. In order to better explain my situation, I include a simplified version of this pattern: <sch:pattern id="...

Re: Schematron "see" attribute and Ampersand
Hello Radu, I downloaded Oxygen 18.1 (build 2017020917) and tested, but it is not working for me. The escaped ampersand in the @see attribute doesn't turn to the unescaped ampersand ("&") in the "more details destination" on the error pane. Is there something else I should do...

Re: Schematron "see" attribute and Ampersand
Thank you for your reply, Radu. However, I have tried all of the following combinations without obtaining a valid link to the reference: <pattern id=”myExample” see=”https://www.reference.com?source=something&action=myAction§ion=mySection”> <pattern id=”myExample” see=”https://www.refere...

Schematron "see" attribute and Ampersand
Hello, I’m new to Schematrons, and in one of the patterns I need to include a URL to a reference material. The URL requires the use of ampersand, as in the following example: <pattern id=”myExample” see=”https://www.reference.com?source=something&action=myAction§ion=mySection”> The error...
