Collection of keys not working
Hi, I have a map that in principle looks like follows: Map A Map B Topic A {keyA} Topic B Depending on which project I open this map in, different things happen: No keys are detected The key is detected The key is detected together with other keys that were in the map previously but have been remove...

DITAVAL precedence or priority
Hi, I have a customer facing document built on a ditamap. In this ditamap I use topicref to include another ditamap. In the same topicref , after the ditamap I have a ditavalref referencing a ditaval file. The structure basically looks like this: <map_1> <topicref map_2> <ditvalref ditaval_1/> </top...

Re: XSPEC output
Hi Alex, I have done some further work on this and figured out as you propose that I should set the mentioned parameter to False. This helped me to review the resulting xml file and it is obvious that it differs very much from my "own" result when applying the XSLT to the xml file. The res...

XSPEC output
Hi, I am trying to use XSPEC for testing some XSLT files and have run into an issue. For one XSLT file I have three scenarios. Two of these pass, but one fails. Now I am trying to debug... The html report that is generated links to a result file that does not exist. I use the "XSpec for XSLT&qu...

Re: Configure editor not to open in existing project context
Hi, Thank you for a prompt response. The delay of my reaction goes to show that this is not the biggest of my issues at this time ;) I have adopted a similar, but slightly more reactive strategy of trying to remember to create or switch to a dummy project when I open XML Editor. It is a bit of an an...

Configure editor not to open in existing project context
When I open a file from the file explorer, using the context menu or double-clicking, I don't want it to be opened in the latest used project context. Is it possible somehow to configure Oxygen XML Editor NOT to open in a project view or to open in a new project?
Best Regards,
Fredrik

Re: Flagging on topic level
Hi Radu,
You are right. It works when I download the 2.5 release. Is that what the green bar with "Milestone 2.5" above it indicates? Does it mean that the fix was included in that release?
Thank's for helping!

Flagging on topic level
Hi, My understanding from searching for information about flagging is that there is or has been an issue when wanting to flag an entire topic. I am trying to get content profiled with otherprops="Internal" to be output with blue text. It works well on a sub-topic level. When I set this att...

Sounds neat. However, I am producing pdf documents and I realized that just generating the same list of topics over and over without further structure becomes a bit difficult to navigate.

Re: Issue with branching
Hi Radu, Thank's for your effort. When repeating this with the same setup it now works... I assume it may be related to some temporary file that is no longer there, if that is a possibility. No matter, I have decided on the approach of applying the ditaval files as a batch job using the transformati...

Issue with branching
I have an odd issue that popped up when trying to generate multiple versions of the same ditamap. I get the error message: An empty sequence is not allowed as the value of variable $entryNumber It works if I either remove one of the ditavalref entries, or remove the table from the dita-file. Re: Combining ditavalref and conref (processing order?)
Hi, I managed to get around this issue by including the topic with reused text in my innermost map and setting the attribute processing-role to "resource-only". I guess that by doing this, the DITA-OT filtering stage (that apparently happens before conref completion) is applied to this fil...

Combining ditavalref and conref (processing order?)
Hi, I just wanted to quickly check if I am doing something unsupported. Profiling inside an element that is included with a conref, that worked well when using the editor profiling filters does not work when applying the same filters with a ditavalref. EDIT: I found this page, http://www.dita-ot.org...

Re: Patchwork tables
Hi Radu, I finally had some time to track down what was causing this issue. It turns out that my customized pdf-plugin adds some kind of footer to tables, that is not present in the regular dita-ot plugin. This happens in a template in the tables.xls file. Below is the template and you will see what...

Re: MS Office Word transformation fails
Hi Costin! Thank you for a good checklist. I realized that I am using an external DITA-OT. We can't open [filename] because we found a problem w...

Re: Patchwork tables
Hi Radu, You are right. When using the DITA-OT pdf plugin the table looks good. I should be able to pinpoint what I am doing wrong by comparing the tiopic.fo files shouldn't I? Re: Activate track changes for all files in folder
Radu, Thanks for your advice. I agree that we could improve our workflow and I hope to be able to do that over time. Although there are two aspects to a review. Patchwork tables
I wonder why my tables sometimes look like patchwork? It seems that table cell borders of joined cells at the bottom of the table are not quite aligned with the outer frame of the table. It makes the table look like I tried to draw it myself, but didn't manage very good. You can see an example here:...

Removing the instruction shouldn't be an issue, but accepting all changes is worse. That will still need to be done one by one I guess or was that functionality already added?

Re: Track changes in Dita Map PDF
Hi, I think that for review purposes, using the standard plugin is an acceptable temporary solution. It buys me some time to take a look at your plugin and try to figure out how it works. I suspect that's a better solution for me in the long run, although your offer to review my plugin is tempting. ...

Activate track changes for all files in folder
Hi, Is there a way to easily activate/deactivate track changes for all files in a folder, including subfolders, or in a project? Doing it one by one is rather tedious or if done "when needed" rather unreliable (I am posting because I just realized I forgot to...). Best Regards, Fredrik Lönn

Hi Radu, Thank's for the advice. It works as expected when I use Oxygen's bundled Dita-OT. I also get it to work using my external DITA OT installation. First I had an issue when using the parameter name as given in the readme-file of the plugin ("show.oxygen.changes.and.comments"), but wh...

Re: Track changes in Dita Map PDF
Being able to view the changes in pdf-output would be very helpful to me as well. Does the show.changes.and.comments functionality exist even if I am using a DITA-OT external to the installation? Regardless - do I simply add the above parameter and set its value to "yes" (without citation ...
