XSL-FO specific page count
Hi all, I have an XSL-FO stylesheet to transform XML documents to PDF using Oxygen 18.1 and the Apache FOP processor. The output PDF should always have a page count that is divisible by 4, so that page count mod 4 = 0. The stylesheet has 3 page-sequence elements: one for frontmatter, one for the bod...

Editor variables to target files in EPUB package
Hi, I have made a transformation scenario to alter the opf in an EPUB package. I would like the opf to be overwritten within the archive, but I can't seem to find the correct editor variables in the output settings of the transformation scenario. I've tried different things, like: ${afd}/${cfne} Thi...

Re: Spellcheck error
Hi Adrian,
Many thanks for your support. Can you confirm that this issue is resolved in version 19.1 and higher, or only the corresponding issue? So that, if I was to upgrade to a newer version, I wouldn't encounter this problem anymore?
Kind regards,
Hugo

Hi Adrian,
They are publicly available under BSD and Creative Commons license. The source that I used is the following Github page:

I've renamed the dictionary files to nl_NL.

Spellcheck error
Hi, Some of my colleagues reported an error when using the spellcheck function in Oxygen 18.1. The error is a bit cryptic, so I'n not sure how to handle it. It just says "Error - 0". Can anyone please point me in the right direction? . This error window does not appear all the time, just s...

Re: Insert line breaks before processing instruction
Hi Adrian,
Thanks for the explanation, I won't look further into this option then.
My purpose was to improve the human readabilty of xml files that contain multiple processing instructions. Maybe I'll look further in the direction of XSL to solve this then.
Kind regards,
Hugo

Insert line breaks before processing instruction
Hi, I would like to insert a line break before each processing instruction when using the 'format and indent' option. Is this possible? For instance my document starts as follows: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><?xml-model href="file:/T:/Schemas/dtbook.sch" type=...

Change plugin folder location
Hi,
Is is possible to change the path from which plugins are loaded? The default folder for me is: C:\Program Files\Oxygen XML Editor 18\plugins
I have no writing acces here and I want to test a java plugin without having to bother my sysadmin.
Kind regards,
Hugo

Re: Slow processing MathML in author mode
Terrific, thank you very much! I'm very glad that we can keep using Oxygen for files with this many MathML equations, and I hope that the performance in combination with MathFlow will also improve.
Kind regards,
Hugo

Re: Slow processing MathML in author mode
Hi Radu, I've installed Oxygen 18.1 build 2016112217 and the problem seems to be solved. I can now open the file in author mode in under 20 seconds. Thanks for your support! Will this problem also be fixed in older versions (I currently have a license for 15.2), or are they dicontinued for updates? ...

Re: Slow processing MathML in author mode
Hi Radu, I do use custom plugins in Oxygen 15.2, but the performance is still the same when I disabled them and reset all the properties. I also tried an evaluation copy of Oxygen 18 with default settings, but the problem persists. When I add MathFlow, I do notice that it takes even longer to open t...

Re: Slow processing MathML in author mode
Hi Radu, Thank you for testing the file. I've opened the file on a dedicaded machine (core i5 and 8GB RAM), both with and withour network connection, but unfortunately it didn't make a difference. The document opens without a connection, but still very slowly. The MathML document type association is...

Slow processing MathML in author mode
Hi, I'm trying to edit Daisy XML documents with a lot of MathML equations (5000+), and it takes a lot of time to view and edit these files in author mode. Opening in text mode is not a problem and files with much less equations open quicker in author mode. However, files with a lot of equations take...
