Re: XML Editor SEO Function

Tried all of these. None of these helped in overriding the <topic> tag in the html head section.

Re: Overriding the title tag of the webhelp responsive transformation

Multiple html files created by the web responsive output of DITA has same title. This is because different parts of the help section has the same title.

I want to fine tune the title tag for SEO reasons.

Hope this makes it clear.

Overriding the title tag of the webhelp responsive transformation

I am using a custom webhelp responsive template. In my generated help there are many pages where the <title> tag (in the generated html) is repeated, this is because the software uses the h1 tag as the title. Is there a way to override the title for a particular file either in the map or in the dita...

Search showing empty screen - dita webhelp responsive

I think this has happened after I upgraded to 23.1 (although I am not 100% sure). I have created dita webhelp responsive help file and whatever I put in the searchbox the output is blank. Any ideas what and how I can fix this.

I understand. Is it at least possible to have separate pdf files for different sections but have the unified responsive html?

Multiple Help Files for a ditamap...

Coming from a docbook background I am trying to get a handle on the dita format to convert all the help files to dita. I like the index page blocks that can be created using the "Responsive Webhelp" option. My question is can I have different help files for a single ditamap file. For examp...

In a ditamap I am using the same topic file multiple times. When compiling with ditamap with webhelp responsive , I see that each topic creates a separate files with _1, _2 etc. For example <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE map PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DITA Map//...

Do have a template similar to your help files

I got version 21.1 of the XML Editor. I am wondering if you have any template for web help that creates pages similar to your own help files (e.g. https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/21.1/ug-editor/topics/introduction.html) The one I created using your template is creating pages based on iframes....

Is there a way to scale the images in the pdf

Hi! I apologize if this is a common DocBook settings question but after looking into several places I cannot figure out how to have the images scaled so that they do not cut off (at the right) when producing pdf. With HTML transformation, we can manage using the htmlstyle.css I am wondering if we ca...

Re: Xml Editor 8.0... orderedlist continuation=continues not working

Thanks for the information.
From what I tested, the HTML output from our default transformation scenario looks good
I guess this issue has to do with how the DocBook document is written and not with how the transformation is applied.

Xml Editor 8.0... orderedlist continuation=continues not working

Hi!

Even if I give continuation = "continues" in xml editor, it is still showing from the beginning. Is this an issue in the software or some configuration?

One more thing, can you tell me if it is possible to generate the top level Table of Content. Not sure how, it works on my open source webhelp but can't find a parameter in the OxygenXml.

Re: Issue with chunking...

Hi, Thanks for the sample. Right now you are probably using for publishing the Docbook to WebHelp a pre-defined Oxygen transformation scenario called DocBook WebHelp Classic . It cannot be edited but it can be duplicated and in the parameters tab you should edit those two attributes you mentioned a...

Re: Styling other docbook tags in the editor

This is nice. I do not want to change the css file supplied by the editor because changes might be lost if I upgrade the software. Let me create the stylesheet for my document as a separate file and then I will send it to you for your consideration.

Keep up the good work.

I have started using the docbook editor in a project. I was wondering if it is possible to do WYSIWYG styling for other docbook tags for example command, guibutton etc. so that when we edit the document we get feedback on the tags.
