Is there a way to scale the images in the pdf

Hi! I apologize if this is a common DocBook settings question but after looking into several places I cannot figure out how to have the images scaled so that they do not cut off (at the right) when producing pdf. With HTML transformation, we can manage using the htmlstyle.css I am wondering if we ca...

Re: Xml Editor 8.0... orderedlist continuation=continues not working

Thanks for the information.

From what I tested, the HTML output from our default transformation scenario looks good

I guess this issue has to do with how the DocBook document is written and not with how the transformation is applied.

Xml Editor 8.0... orderedlist continuation=continues not working

Hi!

Even if I give continuation = "continues" in xml editor, it is still showing from the beginning. Is this an issue in the software or some configuration?

pdf files making 16x16 icons larger randomly

Re: Issue with chunking...

One more thing, can you tell me if it is possible to generate the top level Table of Content. Not sure how, it works on my open source webhelp but can't find a parameter in the OxygenXml.

Re: Issue with chunking...

Hi, The only changes I made to the transformation scenario was that in the Parameters tab I set chunk.first.sections to 0 and chunk.section.depth to 2 in order to match the values you used on your side. I publish using Oxygen XML Editor 19.0 and I'm attaching how my published Webhelp output looks l...

Re: Issue with chunking...

Hi, Thanks for the sample. Right now you are probably using for publishing the Docbook to WebHelp a pre-defined Oxygen transformation scenario called DocBook WebHelp Classic . It cannot be edited but it can be duplicated and in the parameters tab you should edit those two attributes you mentioned a...

Re: Issue with chunking...

Hi Radu, Here is a snippet of our help file that I am putting into OxygenXml. https://www.dropbox.com/s/35hj3ijagro4nx3/test.zip?dl=0 I used the webhelp classic to create the document. After creating the document please click on the General Concepts on the left. To contrast this with our current doc...

Re: Issue with chunking...

I am already using the Docbok Webhelp Classic and have set these two parameters via the UI. These two parameters are supposed to control the chunks. I just need to have the first section combined with the chapter. It was working using the same parameters in the docbook open source so I am wondering ...

Issue with chunking...

I have the following parameters set in docbook webhelp: chunk.section.depth = 2 chunk.first.sections = (default = 0) I would like to have the first section merge with the chapter. It is still keeping these separate. It worked when I used docbook webhelp transformation (not with oxygenXml) Any idea w...

Re: Styling other docbook tags in the editor

Not sure why but after I applied a new style (only one rule) the initial document loading time has become about 3 times slower.

Re: Styling other docbook tags in the editor

This is nice. I do not want to change the css file supplied by the editor because changes might be lost if I upgrade the software. Let me create the stylesheet for my document as a separate file and then I will send it to you for your consideration.

Keep up the good work.

Styling other docbook tags in the editor

I have started using the docbook editor in a project. I was wondering if it is possible to do WYSIWYG styling for other docbook tags for example command, guibutton etc. so that when we edit the document we get feedback on the tags.

Webhelp classic how to create friendly urls

I am trying to configure docbook webhelp classic. It creates url like http://.../.../#ch05s03s01s01.html. I would like it to be more user friendly using topic names of chapters and sections, for example:something like http://.../.../#my-topic-1.my.section02 etc. I have seen this in many help files c...

Re: Webhelp Classic Customizing Header

Hello, The XHTML fragment should contain the links to the PDF and CHM files. For example: <div class="links"> <div class="pdf-link"> <a href="${oxygen-webhelp-output-dir}/pdf/flowers.pdf"> <img src="${oxygen-webhelp-output-dir}/pdf/pdf-icon.png"/> </a> </div>...
