Re: Centralizing PDF plugin vars

Hi,

I don't have a good answer for this, also understanding a little bit better your use case would have helped.
Maybe you could register on the DITA Users List and ask there giving more details about your particular situation:

Re: PDF-CSS Plugin and DITA OT

Hi Anna, The Saxon libraries which are now bundled with DITA OT 3.x are restricted and can no longer load the Java extensions needed by our plugin. Because of this reason we have not yet released a version of our plugin which works with a default downloaded DITA OT 3.x. What you can do (besides payi...

Re: Clean up .xpr project files

Hi, I will register an internal issue about your idea of having some kind of Project Cleanup Wizard. Problem with using plain XSLT is just what you said, editor variables like ${pdu} need to be expanded in order to check for references. Also I'm not sure if the project size could be attributed only ...

Re: Protecting project files (xpr) among team

Hi Mike,

Indeed right now we save associations between XML documents and the default scenarios used to publish them at project level. We are considering to change this in a future version.
Until then indeed as you are using SVN you can decide to lock the XPR.

Re: Clean up .xpr project files

Hi, I'm not sure if the "Unable to save" messages relate to the size of the XPR, most probably they do not. So first you should check if the XPR is in a folder which has write permissions and if it is not marked as read-only in the file system. You can also try to drag and drop it to the O...

Re: Table styles in CSS (last child)

Hi Anna,

And are you using the CSS to style how the content looks like in the Author visual editing mode or are you using it to style the PDF output obtained from DITA content using the CSS-based DITA Map PDF - WYSIWYG transformation scenario?

Re: Distinct file location formats

Hi Boris, So what we did on the "Copy location" from the opened XML document tab is that if you paste the location inside Oxygen (in an XSLT for example) you will get an URL pointing to it but if you paste it in another application (outside of Oxygen) you get a file path. So maybe the &quo...

Re: Distinct file location formats

Hi,

I think it's an inconsistency and most probably the file path D:\Test\Conversion.xml is more useful to you than the URL path. So we'll probably change the "Copy location" for the project to yield the same result as the one from the opened XML document tab.

Re: CSS for JATS related-article and self-url elements

Hi,

That "authorDefaults.css" is a default CSS Oxygen contributes automatically to all other CSS layers. So you cannot remove it but you can override its selectors either by having a more specific selector or by using the !important CSS flag.

Hi, On the toolbar there is a V-shaped drop-down button (with a green V) called "Accept Changes". It has actions which allow you to either accept the current change or accept it and move to the next change. So instead of using the contextual menu they might want to use that drop-down toolb...

Hi Ann,

Maybe if the caret is inside the table, you could run an XPath using our XPath toolbar with something like:

Code: Select all

ancestor-or-self::table/count(.//row)

Re: EditorComponent Optimization

Hi Johann,

2-3 seconds for the first call to the method which creates the component is expectable and indeed is probably connected to class loading.
So maybe indeed you could try to issue a call to the method right after calling the factory.init() method to force load all classes.

Hi Matt,

I will need some screenshots for this, maybe show how the DITA content looks like. Maybe you can send them directly to support@oxygenxml.com.
Also maybe you should also ask Ixiasoft about this, they may be able to use our APis to filter out such errors.

Re: OxygenXML 17.1 and DITA-OT 2.4.4

Hi,

Basically whatever library is in the libraries list will be used when the DITA OT ANT process is started. So probably you did need to copy your old commons-io library but to refer to the new one in the libraries list.
Of course Oxygen 19.1 will not have this problem anymore.
