Re: Getting the currently applied profiling configuration programatically for use in Author Actions

Hi Bruno,

Maybe you could try to use something like this:

authorAccess.getEditorAccess().getStyles(node).isFilteredOut()

on each node that you want to process.

Re: Any tips for updating the DocBook 2 DITA converter?

Hi Scott, Indeed in Oxygen if you open a DocBook file, the "Configure Transformation Scenario(s)" dialog should show a "DocBook to DITA" transformation scenario which uses the XSLT stylesheet located in OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR/frameworks/docbook/xsl/dbdita/db2dita/docbook2dita.xsl In ...

Re: detect encoding problem on load

Hi Scott, So you are using our Author Component Java API to create your own Swing-based Java application, right? We have API to save the contents ro.sync.exml.workspace.api.editor.WSEditorBase.save() , API which behaves identical with the save operation in the standalone Oxygen version. Is it possib...

Re: labels for attribute values in Content Completion Assistant

Hello Daniel, Please see some answers below: 1) Is there a way of providing a „label“ for the items in the content completion assistent’s list of attribute values? Just like there are titles of code templates? I hope that is not a stupid question since it seems such an obvious pattern that I fear th...

Re: How to set a path for images?

Hi Bob,

Unfortunately I cannot give you an estimate for when the DocBook WebHelp classic publishing will be fixed to support "img.src.path" in exactly the same way in which it supports the same parameter for XHTML based outputs. But when we do, we'll update this forum thread.

Re: How to set a path for images?

Hi, We seem to have some problems in our WebHelp classic output when it comes to handling this parameter, I will add an internal issue for it. In the meantime, a possible fix: 1) In the XSLT stylesheet OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR\frameworks\docbook\xsl\com.oxygenxml.webhelp.classic\xsl\docbook\images.xsl com...

Re: Format the audience attribute

Hi, Usually profiling attributes set on DITA content are not passed through to the resulting post processed DITA content. To pass these profiling attributes further on you need to define them in the DITAVAL filter file as "pass-through": https://www.oxygenxml.com/forum/topic10569.html#p329...

Re: How to set a path for images?

Hi, Sorry for the delay. The official Docbook documentation for images: http://www.sagehill.net/docbookxsl/GraphicsLocations.html If the img.src.path parameter is set, its value is prepended to each fileref value if it is not an absolute path. This parameter lets you specify the path to the image fi...

Re: Copy/Paste without creating element id

Hi, If the copied step already has an ID, that ID will be preserved on paste, this goes both for the Text and for the Author visual editing modes. If it does not have an ID, then indeed when pasting in the Author visual editing mode might automatically set an ID to it. To inhibit this, open a DITA t...

Re: InDesign XPath 1.0 subset

Hi Rolf,

When you choose to run an XPath in Oxygen you can set the XPath type to XPath 1.0.
But I really do not know anything about the XPath 1.0 subset implemented in InDesign. Maybe you could find an InDesign users list and ask there.

Re: Source code for PromoteDemoteItemOperation

Hi Bruno,

Great, thanks for updating the forum thread. Probably in the future we might also need to add a default operation in Oxygen (we have a Table Properties operation which can be used to edit a table's configuration) to do the same thing. I will add an issue on our side.

Re: Default app for opening files embedded in XML

Hi Charles,

For such files Oxygen just delegates the open operation to a Java API implemented in the Java VM which tries to use the default associated application. We do not have a separate settings layer to allow you to control which application to call for which file extension.

Please try to come up with a small sample DITA project exhibiting the problem, zip it and send it to us via email (support@oxygenxml.com). I will try to find some time to look into this.

Re: How to convert Custom Docbook Topic to DITA

Hi Gopi,

You will probably need to look at the XSLT stylesheet used for Docbook to DITA conversion:

OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR\frameworks\docbook\xsl\dbdita\db2dita\docbook2dita.xsl

and make changes to it so that it can also process your custom element names.

Hi, What you want is not something very usual so there is no parameter to control it. If you want to do this the proper way, you could create a DITA Open Toolkit plugin which adds a new transformation type based on HTML5. Your new plugin will add an XSLT customization which would override from the b...

Hi,

It's plain CSS so you can use the "*" universal elements selector:

Code: Select all

*[cust_attr="Yes"]{

    -oxy-tags-background-color:green;
}
