Hi,

I'm sorry but I do not understand what you mean. Could you also post some small DITA XML code snippets showing those two situations?

Re: Topic re-use in multiple maps

Hi Anna, I don't have a good idea about how to do this. Other than having two instances of topicA1.dita and topicA2.dita reusing some common content, pointing to two instances of topicB1.dita and topicB2.dita reusing some common content I'm not sure how to approach this. I tried to use key scopes bu...

Hi Catherine, Sorry for the delay. We do not do that on purpose for our technical documentation, our DITA content and it's equivalent generated HTML content does not state precisely that the title should be followed by a certain product name. Somehow Google "knows" our product name and app...

Hi, Maybe you could add in your custom CSS extra selectors looking like this one: *[class~="hazard-d/hazardstatement"][type='danger'] { background-color:red; } This topic describes how you can debug your CSS selectors to see that you match the proper constructs: https://www.oxygenxml.com/d...

Re: programlisting... numbered... Error: "No numberLines function available"

Hi Otto, if you open the Oxygen transformation scenario you are using, there is an "Extensions" button. Click that and add in the extensions list a reference to ${frameworks}/docbook/xsl/extensions/saxon65.jar . I think that extra JAR library contains the numbering function you are after. ...

Re: Key References not Working CSS to PDF

Hi Carlos, Once you have references to outside resources in one place, this might break also other references, which are not to resources outside of the main DITA Map folder. So there is a possibility that those two conrefs to outside resources will cause the publishing engine to break other links o...

Re: check values of 2 XPath-Expressions

Hi, If you add those extra ' simple quotes around XPath expressions, they become simple strings. So you should remove the simple quotes and obtain something like: <xsl:if test="//ab:kov-data/ab:person1/ab:gender = //ab:kov-data/ab:person2/ab:gender"> Regards, Radu

Hi Mark, If you edit a transformation scenario in Oxygen, it has an XML URL and an XSL URL. Oxygen takes the XML and processes it using the XSLT, then if the "Perform FO Processing" checkbox is checked, Oxygen will save the result as a temporary file with the name suffixed with "_xslt...

Hi, Maybe instead of xsl:value-of you should use "xsl:copy-of" instead, otherwise all the XML tags will be stripped from the copied content. About the authentication, maybe it would be better to do that outside of the XSLT, have an ANT build file which downloads the necessary XML document ...

Re: insert.image action shown for glossBody?

Hi Christina, Actually the @class attribute value for a glossSymbol is - topic/image concept/image glossentry/glossSymbol so a glossSymbol is an extension of the DITA image, this is why the action still appears in the content completion list but when invoked it will indeed insert a glossSymbol. Re: get node depending of parent position (but nodename of parent is unknown)

Hi Mario, Some parentheses might help: (/*/*/S_NAD/parent::*)[position() = 1] in order to first compute the entire sequence of parents and then to select from them the first one. Or you can also try something like: /*/*/S_NAD[parent::*[count(preceding-sibling::*) = 1]] Regards, Radu

Hi Christina,

My Antenna House installation is acting up this morning so I cannot test with it.
But I did test the classic PDF output without any customizations using the RenderX XEP processor and it does not add that extra spacing between the title and paragraph.

Re: Getting unwanted xmlns prefix in transformation output

Hi,

I think what you really need it to add an extra xmlns="http://www.crossref.org/schema/4.4.1" on the xsl:stylesheet root element so that all XML elements emitted by the XSLT are in that namespace. And remove that xsl:namespace element.

Radu
