Updating the JQuery plugin
Our security office identified a potential weakness in our WebHelp system, and isolated it to an "older" version of Jquery.js. When I go look at the Jquery website, they are offering 3.1.1.
Has anyone updated to this version and are there any potential pitfalls?

Re: running out of memory with oXy 17.1.17
We're still having memory issues, now with Author v. 18. We've adjusted the xmx in both the UI and in the .vmoptions file. I'll upload the latest log file shortly. Currently we can only build using Editor 16.1 with the xmx set to either 4096 or 8192.

running out of memory with oXy 17.1.17
I'm building oXygen webhelp for a pretty large Help system, ~18k topics, with oXy Editor package 17.1.17 and have increased the Advanced>JVM Arguments setting to -Xmx4096m (which works fine in 16.1) but I'm still running out of memory.
Any suggestions?

Re: oXygen webhelp support for Konqueror/Mozilla on linux
I'm sorry to ask a question and drop the issue. It appears to be an issue on the non-help side of the equation, but I'll be keeping an eye on this and I'll be back if I find a need.

oXygen webhelp support for Konqueror/Mozilla on linux
We're producing a webhelp system for use in both a Windows and a Linux environment. Most of our linux users interact in a VM, and when they open the Help in KDM, it opens in Konqueror. Some features of the webhelp don't seem to function very well in Konqueror. Has anyone reported this in the past, a...

how to exclude topics from webhelp search
We have a large help system which contains thousands of error/info/warning messages. I'd like to be able to exclude or restrict search on those. Does oXygen webhelp support the following use in the topicref? <topicref search="no" toc="no" href="bla/bla.msg"/> Is it poss...

output the message console to a text file
It would be nice if there was a parameter that directed the message console to output to a text file.

Re: output the build message console to a text file
Thats what I usually do, but I had a situation the other day where the console was in excess of 250k lines, and I didnt have enough memory to hold it on the clipboard. I suppose I could just copy/paste it in chunks but I figured there had to be a better way. Moving this to the "Please add this ...

Is there a way to redirect the build message console to a text file? I'm building a rather large webhelp project and more than once I haven't been able to copy/paste the 260+ k lines of text because of resources...

Re: customizing for related topic output
Yes please! Based on our current models, a single block of Related Information entries would seem to be preferable, and if I do it and my fellow writers hate it, I can always go back.

customizing for related topic output
We're using oXygen 16.1 to develop a replacement help system using WebHelp output. In the default output, the topics are distributed by topic type, Related concepts, Related reference, Related tasks. Can you direct me to a way to aggregate all related topics under a single "Related topics"...

Re: How to access local WebHelp
Cool deal. Found that no problem and now my webhelp starts in master.htm. One problem though, when I try to open an individual html file* the webhelp is invoked somehow and it wants to find index.html even though we aren't using it. For example, I click on the file sta_about_sta.htm in \webhelp\anal...

Re: How to access local WebHelp
Apologies. We're using a modified version of the DITA to WebHelp transformation. I've puttered around with the parameters dialog box but haven't found anything that jumps out at me as "make this change to get what you want".
Thanks

How to access local WebHelp
This is a similar question to one asked by tomjohnson1492 here . We're using oXygen 16.1 to create a WebHelp system that our customers ought to be able to access from a local install, or on the internet. When a user opens the help at file:/// ...index.html, the TOC displays, but the content frame is...

Re: Filenames too long in the Eclipse plugin
Thanks for the prompt reply. It appears that the issue is a WinZip shortcoming. Getting 7zip is a solution we're looking into, however, maybe you could pass this issue along and suggest they use shorter file names?

Filenames too long in the Eclipse plugin
Oxygen 16 plugin for Eclipse 16.0.0. Ixiasoft DITA CMS 3.4 I'm trying to create a WinZip self extractor for this plugin and can't include the contents of \frameworks\docbook\xsl\com.oxygen.webhelp\oxygen-webhelp\resources\skins\mobile\jquery.mobile-1.4.0 because WinZip says the filename is too long....
