Re: Transformwation failed, NoClassDefFoundError for LogManager
Hi Radu,
Thank you for this explanation. It makes sense, and I'm glad to know that Oxygen is becoming increasingly robust. I will follow your suggestion, and will let you know if I run into any problems.
Best regards,
Bob

Re: Transformwation failed, NoClassDefFoundError for LogManager
Hi Radu, Yes, a heads-up would have been helpful. I didn't realize that there was any connection. I know it's hard to predict what could possibly go wrong with each user's configuration, but is there any kind of a change log that could be used to find out where to look? If not, I may be getting back...

Re: Transformwation failed, NoClassDefFoundError for LogManager
Hi Radu,
Thank you for letting me know. Much appreciated. By the way, is there a place online where these kinds of things are documented for each release? I looked around a little for such a notice, and didn't see anything obvious.
Best regards,
Bob

Transformwation failed, NoClassDefFoundError for LogManager
04DocBookWebHelp-TargetDB-forOXsupport.zip Dear friends, I recently installed v22.1, and in one of my WebHelp for Docbook transformation scenarios, in which I generate a target database, I got the following error: System ID: D:\Activity\Cogent\Docs\DocsOx\Source\TestSet\test-set.xml Scenario: 04Doc...

Re: How to copy resource files to DocBook WebHelp Classic output?
Hi Costin, This is prefect. Thank you. I see now what happened. I have been using a custom copy of the DocBook WebHelp Classic transformation scenario for a number of years, and had not been updating it with new versions of Qxygen. I'll have to start doing that each year. I appreciate your help with...

Re: How to insert a space after a formalpara title in DocBook FO?
Hi Radu,
Thank you for the suggestion. We do indeed have an XSLT customization layer, and somehow when <formalpara> got redefined, the line <xsl:text> </xsl:text> was changed to <xsl:text></xsl:text>. Now it is working properly.
Appreciatively yours,
Bob

How to insert a space after a formalpara title in DocBook FO?
Dear friends, I'm having difficulty with FO output for DocBok <formalpara> markup. I want the FO processor to insert a space between the <title> of a <formalpara> and the <para> it contains, with no other punctuation. Please refer to the attached image. FormalparaOutput.png Here is the source code: ...

Re: How to control widows and orphans in a Docbook FO XSL customization layer?
Hi Radu, Thank you for your suggestions. As it turns out, I was able to include them in setting attributes for list.block.spacing and list.item.spacing, which is where the problems were occurring. For example: <!-- Reduces spacing for list items, overrides widow/orphan control --> <xsl:attribute-set...

How to control widows and orphans in a Docbook FO XSL customization layer?
WidowOrphanOutput.png Dear friends, I need to know how to remove widow/orphan constraints from blocks in formatted output (FO) for Docbook source, because the default setting of "2" is leaving too much white space in my documents in certain places. For example, please see the attached scr...

Re: Organizing project transformation scenarios
Has any support for this kind of organizing project transformation scenarios been implemented since this original post? We are trying to follow the guidance here by naming our scenarios in a sequential order, and it isn't working very well. For example, we have scenarios named as follows: 01Skkynet-...

Re: How to set a path for images?
Hi Radu, Thank you for these suggestions. I followed these steps, and got it to work, but I was unable to set a path to my Images directory, like: "../../../Images", because as I understand it, that is not considered a relative path. Moving the images to the same directory as my source fil...

Re: How to set a path for images?
Hi Radu, Thank you for this information. I have tried the following relative paths: img.src.path = ../Images/ img.src.path = ../../../Images/ Since the images are here: C:/Activity/Cogent/Docs/DocsOx/Source/Images/ And the source files are here: C:/Activity/Cogent/Docs/DocsOx/Source/[document_name]/...

How to set a path for images?
I am having difficulties getting the img.src.path parameter in my DocBook WebHelp Classic Ant Scenario to work. Re: Changing line spacing in Docbook variablelists
Hi Radu, That's a great tip for viewing the generated XSL-FO file. Thank you! And thanks for linking to the Docbook-Apps message. I can add that as Bob Stayton mentioned, his customization applies to all the paras in a varlistentry, not just the first one. I have had to make additional modifications...

Re: Changing line spacing in Docbook variablelists
Hi Radu, Thanks for the quick reply. I'm pretty sure my customizations apply, because I can change the font of the term to bold. But the generated XSL-FO file might have some clues to the problem. Where would I find it? In any case, I'm acting on your suggestion and have asked about this on the Docb...

Changing line spacing in Docbook variablelists
I want to remove all line spacing for list items in a Docbook document using Apache FOP XSLT. I've been able to do this successfully, except for the space between the term and listitem in a variablelist. I have made a number of attempts in my custom stylesheet, but no luck. For example, one part of ...
