Re: Hiding top menu and search box in context sensitive help
Hi, thanks for your answer. However, I forgot this is responsive HTML, thus Javascript is not needed, you can just customize the CSS: @media screen and (max-width: 300px) { .wh_header, .wh_footer, .wh_breadcrumb, .wh_search_input { visibility: hidden; display: none; } } Good enough for me ;-) Kind r...

Hiding top menu and search box in context sensitive help
Hi, I would like to show or hide some of the WebHelp responsive components dynamically . I know that I can do it statically at build time by setting the "webhelp.show.top.menu" and other parameters to either 'yes' or 'no', but I want to do it dynamically on a single webhelp package. For ex...

Hi, I have a DITA topic with <resourceid id="test1" /> When I publish th emap in Responsive WebHelp format, I can load that specific topic in a browser using index.htm?contextId=test1 However, I wanted to scroll down directly to the page body, so I tried index.htm?contextId=test1#wh_topic_...

Re: Customizing WebHelp Responsive header
Thanks for your answer, however I need more details.
Do I need a "myCustomWebHelp" plugin or is it feasible simply by creating a new custom publishing template ?
In the later case, in which file should I add the code ?
TIA,
Pascale

Customizing WebHelp Responsive header
Hi, we have a custom DITA map DTD, with additional metadata that we want to show in the header in a customized WebHelp Responsive plugin, as part of the title. For example, we want to display the product name before and the document version after the title's text, and the entire string must be inclu...

Re: webhelp outputs include content that should be filtered out
Hi Radu, we found the cause of the problem: we are using DITA OT 2.2.2 (not 1.8 ) and this version seems to have severe problems with the XML Catalogs. In many occasions, and in particular when executing the [gen-list] and [debug-filter] targets, OT issues messages like: Failed to read DITAVAL file:...

Re: webhelp outputs include content that should be filtered out
Hi Radu, I can confirm that - the book is valid when using the Oxygen check completeness and the DITAVAL - the profiled content is excluded from the PDF - the profiled content is excluded from the TOC and next/previous page navigation thus the problem is due to the fact that, despite it should be ex...

Hi Alex, thanks for the answer. I tried the first option you suggested and it seems to work, however I would like to understand: 1. how do I control the priority of the CSS rules. Customized CSS in DITA framework add-on
Hi, I have a custom DITA framework that has been defined as an extension of the out-of-the-box DITA framework, and we deploy our custom framework as an add-on. So far, so good. Now, I want to add styling to my specialized elements and to override some of the default styling defined in ${frameworks}/...

Re: Using subject scheme in keyref
Hi Radu, you are right, this was somewhat related to the post of my colleague Xavier. However here we were only trying to use the out-of-the-box features of the AUthor mode in Oxygen, not the API. I am glad that you plan to provide a fix in the comming weeks, and will be happy to test it and provide...

Re: Restriction of DITA domain
Hi Radu, thanks for reminding me the link, I agree that Eliot Kimber website and book is an invaluable resource for DITA specialization. However I am looking for more: what I want to do is to remove elements from an existing DITA Domain, and I could not find any info about that. The solution I imple...

Hi, DITA 1.2 specification says in section 2.1.4.4 "For example, a constraint on the Programming Domain could reduce the list of included extension elements to <codeph> and <codeblock>." This is exactly what I want, but I do not understand how to do it! Do I need to include the Programming...

Re: How to enable Author mode if parsing errors
Hi Radu,
thanks for the answer.
And, yes, please keep me informed if you can implement a more relaxed parsing when switching to Author mode.
In the meantime, I will investigate if using a Catalog as you suggested can solve the problem.
Regards,
Pascale

Hi I need to edit a XML document (custom DTD) that refers entities that are not reachable on my system. Could you please improve the "Find All Elements" dialog box:

Kind regards,

Showing the TOC in the Author view
Hi,
is there a way to generate a dynamic Table Of Content in the Author view of the Editor ?
By dynamic, I mean a tree of titles representing the structure of the book and where each title is an hyperlink to the corresponding section.
NB: using a custom DTD, not DITA but similar to Docbook

Bugs in CALS Table processing ?
Hi I think I discovered a few bugs in the CALS Table processing (in DITA or custom DTD). My concern is about preserving the table geometry (a table should be a rectangular grid) and the usage of column names. In CALS tables, this is related to the colspec elements, the @colname attribute on colspec,...
