Re: Validation error with standard HTML entities
Hi Octavian,
Thanks for looking into this. I used an old project file and suspect that it messed with some settings. I will check again and report back.
Best regards,

Validation error with standard HTML entities
Hi, When using an HTML entity like in an HTML file, Oxygen complains that the "entity was referenced but not declared". I would not expect such a message for a standard HTML entity. Is there a validation setting in Oxygen that I might have accidentally messed with? Best regards,...

Re: Error message: "cannot open git-upload-pack"
Hi Alex, I get the error as soon as I add a local Git repo. The server certificate is the same as on our public website (https://www.parson-europe.com/en). I suspect it has to do with the storage of the certificate. As far as I know, it is stored in the Windows Certificate Store which some Git clien...

As a workaround, under Network Connection Settings we activated the option for HTTPS "Automatically accept a security certificate, even if invalid".

Hi,
I get the same error message when working with our own, local Git server (SCM Manager on Windows server). Everything works fine with repos on GitHub.
Best regards,
Frank

Re: Customize Syntax Highlighting colors
Hi Costin,
Thanks for that pointer. I had not thought about just overriding the CSS for the syntax highlighting. That sounds much easier than modifying the plugin.

Re: Customize Syntax Highlighting colors
Hi Daryl, The syntax highlighting is implemented in the proprietary Oxygen DITA-OT plugin com.oxygenxml.highlight which is based on the open source XSLT syntax highlighting for which the documentation can be found at https://sourceforge.net/p/xslthl/wiki/Home/. Re: How to modify built-in code fragments?
Hi Radu, Thanks for the pointers. We don't want to touch the schema because even if we highly recommend to use the "consequence" element, we don't want to make it required. So we will go one of the other routes. I had already thought about the "Author Action" way but had forgotte...

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your suggestion. The customer actually had exactly this specialization before. But they are now moving to standard DITA which allows that kind of mixed content.
Best regards,
Frank

Author Mode: Too much whitespace in list items with plain text

Re: Validation scenario for DITA customization?
Hi Radu,
I have created a DITA framework extension that as the only customization points to the additional catalog file. That way, I can easily switch between the two DITA flavors for validation purposes. Thanks again for your pointers.

Validation scenario for DITA customization?
Hi, I want to create a validation scenario to validate DITA files against a customized DITA definition, implemented as a DITA-OT plugin, without having to switch DITA-OTs or frameworks. However, it looks as if I can only point a validation scenario to a single schema file but not an XML catalog file...

As a quick hack, I replaced the dita.jar file in the framework which seems to have solved the current problem. But we will definitely keep your suggestions in mind for future framework customizations and updates.
Thanks again for your kind help!
