Re: Differences in PDF Output Between 20.1 and 21.0

Hi Dan,

Thanks very much for your help (again!). I added @toc to the <frontmatter> and <backmatter> elements and it worked just fine. I also managed to identify the cause of the page breaks - as you said, it was due to a custom CSS file.

All the best,
Carl.

Differences in PDF Output Between 20.1 and 21.0

I recently worked on a project in Oxygen Editor 20.1. We used the DITA Map to PDF transformation based on HTML and CSS, and defined a number of custom CSS files. I'm now working in Oxygen Author 21.0 with exactly the same files and a trial license, but I'm encountering a problem with the TOC and fro...

Frontmatter and Backmatter with Chemistry

I'm using Chemistry to generate a PDF of my DITAmap and am trying to find a way of styling the frontmatter and backmatter. I have one topic that contains frontmatter, which needs to appear after the cover page but before the TOC. I also have 3-5 topics that container backmatter to be placed at the e...

Re: Task Labels Missing from PDF Based on CSS

Hi Costin,

Thanks for the confirmation. Is there a list of known issues somewhere that I can refer to? I'm also having issues styling a table body (font color appears correct in the PDF but the font family doesn't). Perhaps it's me, perhaps it's a bug :)

All the best,
Carl

Task Labels Missing from PDF Based on CSS

I'm using a custom version of the DITA Map PDF - based on HTML5 & CSS transformation scenario. I want the section headings in my tasks ("Prerequisites", "Before you begin", and so on) to appear in the PDF output. I've set the parameter args.gen.task.lbl to YES but the labels ...

HTML Styled Correctly But PDF Isn't

Hi there, I'm using the DITA Map PDF - based on HTML & CSS transformation scenario with a customization. I'm trying to apply a two-column layout to a specific topic in the DITA Map, namely to the "terms and conditions" topic, which has been created with @outputclass="agb" . I...

Re: Chemistry: Omit Cover Page and TOC?

I'm also having this issue but have discovered that the post-process.xsl file doesn't exist under the path given. Any thoughts on how to rectify this?
Thanks!
Carl

Re: Footer not displayed in Webhelp output with webhelp.footer.file

Thanks Bogdan! I tried replacing the relative path with an absolute one but when I ran the transform again, nothing was displayed in the footer at all (not even the alt text). Your suggestion about the base64 encoding worked for me though :D

Footer not displayed in Webhelp output with webhelp.footer.file

I'm fairly new to customizing DITA transforms, so apologies in advance for such a basic question but I'm tearing my hair out trying to get a logo to display in the footer of my Webhelp output. I'm using oXygen 15.2 with DITA OT 1.7. I have a well-formed XHTML file that consists only of an image: <?x...
