Responsive WebHelp - Issue with wh_side_toc and external links
Hi there, I have ditamap containing several topics that are referencing external URLs. These all work fine when links are clicked from the main content area, but when you attempt to open them (click the links) from the Side ToC in the DITA Map WebHelp Responsive output, the external html page opens ...

DITA SCORM wrapper?
Hi, I've seen some posts about this from 6-7 years ago in this forum and I know there was a video (https://www.oxygenxml.com/events/2014/dita-ot_day.html#SCORM_wrapper_for_DITA_to_SCORM) by Hal Trent posted last year on this, but I thought I'd revisit this in a new post since information on this top...

Re: Responsive WebHelp -- Removing the search bar?
Hi Radu, Thanks for this. I was able to figure it out how to remove the search - also thanks for pointing me to that help, it was very useful. To remove the search form, I commented out this block of code (below). Is there a way to only remove the form itself (and keep the background image)? The rea...

Re: Responsive WebHelp -- Removing the search bar?
Hi sorry, I forgot to include this in the last post -- but also, if I wanted to move the Search bar, possibly, into one of the placeholder areas shown in this topic, is that possible?

Responsive WebHelp -- Removing the search bar?
Hi, Can someone please let me know how to remove the search bar on the Responsive WebHelp? I did some looking and have a feeling it might have something to do with this file, but anything I comment out seems to cause the transformation to fail. Customizing the DITA map metrics report
Hi, I've been able to modify the report.xsl and the report2XHTML.xsl files to re-organize/remove some of the data in the default report (e.g., have a whole list of topics sorted by word count, as opposed to the two lists). I'd like to take this a step further (if possible) by adding a new column to ...

Re: Multiple images for WebHelp ToC topics?
Hi Radu, Thanks for following up. After still not being able to get this to work, I figured out my problem. I'm using an older version of the webhelp plugin (I think maybe from v14). When I tried following your steps using a copy of the plugin from v16.1, it worked fine! I think my best bet is to up...

Re: Multiple images for WebHelp ToC topics?
Hi Sorin, Thanks a lot for this! What you've said makes perfect sense, but I can't get it to work. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have added the outputclass to my DITA map, added the images to the folder you recommended, and added the CSS code to the ToC tree. Unless I've put the code in the w...

WebHelp - File Refeence links open in target="_blank"
Hi, I have a WebHelp project with Word, Excel and PDF files reference links. I'd like them all to open in target="_blank" when output to WebHelp (so as to avoid getting a blank page in the WebHelp); however, only the PDF file references seem to do this by default. Is there a way to force ....

Multiple images for WebHelp ToC topics?
Hi, I've set up a DITA WebHelp output where I've added PDF, Word, and Excel topic references to the ToC. I'm wondering if it's possible to alter the WebHelp style sheet (toc.css) to automatically use a different image for each file type (similar to how the map displays in oXygen as you're assembling...

Re: DOCX DITA plugin -- images not copied to output folder
Thanks Radu. I followed up with Elliot like you suggested. I also figured out a way to solve my problem rather easily using the Oxygen Archive Browser. DOCX DITA plugin -- images not copied to output folder
Hi, I'm having an issue with the DOCX DITA plugin (net.sourceforge.dita4publishers.word2dita). I've been successfully able to map and convert everything I've wanted to do except I run into an issue with images. The images in my Word documents don't copy over into the output folder. In my XML files I...

Add xml:lang attribute to multiples files at once
Hi, Is there any way that I can add the xml:lang attribute to a whole bunch of DITA files at once? As an example, I have a whole set of French DITA topics without an xml:lang specified. So I'd like to be able to add xml:lang="fr-ca" to them all at once, rather than each file one by one. I ...

Xrefs not being copied to output folder - webhelp
Hi, I've created several .dita topics where I've inserted File Reference Xrefs to PDF and Excel files. If I move the Excel files manually (copy / paste) everything works...

Appending non-DITA (XML) references to a DITA map
Hi, I've created a DITA map and would like to add links to files that aren't .dita to the map itself. For the project I'm working on now, I'd like to be able to add a topicrefs that are PDFs and Excel files, and generate a Webhelp output where I can open these files as if they were standard links. DITA to XLIFF support?
Hi there,
I'm about to start looking in to ways of providing .dita content in XLIFF format. Just curious, is there any functionality build into Oxygen to convert ditamaps to XLIFF - I can't see anything.
If not, I'd love to see this as a new feature, if possible.
Thanks, Ryan

Connecting to a SharePoint datasource
Hi there, I'm having trouble connecting to SharePoint. I've followed all the steps (it seems like this should be easy), but I can't connect. I'm using active directory authentication, but my URL is secure (https) - maybe this has something to do with it? This is the error that I get: "There was...

Re: Customizing webhelp Mobile output
Hi Sorin, Sorry for the delayed response. To make a long story short, I figured out what the problem was. I had created a custom XHTML footer file that I referenced in the scenerio settings. What was happening was that my footer file contained this line of code <title>Untitled Document</title>. When...

Re: Customizing webhelp Mobile output
Hi Sorin, When I generate output from my project using the default mobile webhelp template everything works fine. All the files have task and topic titles and are valid according to Oxygen (version 15.1). So it leads me to believe that this has something to do with the three files that I've added/ed...

Re: Customizing webhelp Mobile output
Hi Sorin, Thanks very much for pointing me in the right direction. I was able to customize exactly what I wanted to. I ran into some issues with the fonts not behaving as expect when using version 1.4.0 of ThemeRoller so I ended up using version 1.3.2. I was also able to use swatch A, B and C to cre...

Hi Sorin, Thanks very much for the reply. I'll give this a try. I did play around with ThemeRoller a bit, but wasn't able to get the files to work (I'm sure I wasn't using "c" theme). One more question: What version do I pick from the drop down? I'm assuming version 1.3.2 since it looks li...

Customizing webhelp Mobile output
Hi, I'm using Oxygen 15.1 and I'm curious as to what the 'best practice' method is for customizing the jquery webhelp mobile output? At this point, all I want to do is replace the blue/black theme with my own custom colours. I've realized through trial and error that if I edit this particular file, ...
