Re: Unable to Install Author V21
Thanks for the reply and explanation.
That is an odd account name, but it's a work computer and she's stuck with it, apparently.
I'll pass on the information about the zip download.
Cheers,
Eddie.

Re: Unable to Install Author V21
Hello, Thanks for the reply. The download file was 241MB. I downloaded the installer separately (64-bit) and it was 260MB. She tried installing with this and got the same error. I reiinstalled on my machine (Win8.1 Japanese) with the same installer and had no problem. I'll mail the log file to you. ...

Unable to Install Author V21
Hello, One of our writers is having trouble installing Author. She is installing in Windows 10 (Japanese). She has tried both V20.1 and V21. In both cases she gets the error below: An error occurred: com.sun.org.apache.xml.internal.serializer.utils.WrappedRuntimeException: 出力メソッド'xml'のプロパティ・ファイル'out...

Re: Is Markdown Validated Differently in V21?
Hello Radu,
Thanks for the information.
Indeed, as you said in the issue you posted, a line number for the error (or a more simply written message) would be helpful.
Anyway, it's no big deal so we'll just wait for V21.1.
Cheers,
Eddie..

Re: Is Markdown Validated Differently in V21?
Hello Radu, Thanks for the reply. Regarding "No renderer configured for com.vladsch.flexmark.ext.aside.AsideBlock", the file in question has 3 lines that start with a pipe, like so: | Line 1 | Line 2 | Line 3 If I remove these lines, the file is displayed in DITA Preview. The behaviour is ...

Is Markdown Validated Differently in V21?
Hello, I have a project which includes some markdown files. After upgrading from V20.1 to V21, I found that Oxygen V21's markdown editor is flagging errors that it did not flag in V20.1. To be specific, the DITA preview window flags the error. The HTML preview displays the file without error. The fi...

Is it possible to use Git Staging with an existing clone?
Hello, Forgive me if I'm showing my ignorance of Git here, but... Should it not be possible to specify an existing working directory when cloning a repository in Git Staging? For example, in our case we are already using Eclipse and the working directory already exists. It seems to be a waste of tim...

Re: Japanese Fonts Garbled when Converting from Markdown to DITA
Hello,
Apologies for the late reply. I didn't realise that you'd made the fix.
Anyway, I checked it in V21 and it seems to be converting fine.
Thanks for the effort and response.

Japanese Fonts Garbled when Converting from Markdown to DITA
Hello Using Author V20.1. We have some Japanese files that we want to convert from markdown to DITA in oXygen. If I convert by right-clicking in the markdown pane and clicking [Export as DITA Topic], they convert normally. If I convert using the Batch Converter add-on, they convert normally. But if ...

Re: Prolog not Displayed in Author View
Hello,
It is indeed selected. Although how it got selected, I have no idea. I didn't know it had been added in 20.1.
Is there a shortcut key that I could have hit by accident? (I can't find one in the list of menu shortcut keys.)
Anyway, thanks very much for the information.

Prolog not Displayed in Author View
Hello, Apologies if I'm missing something basic here, but... I've just installed (and re-installed) Author V20.1. The files I am editing have a prolog. This is displayed in Text view but not in Author view. Is there a new display setting that I am missing? I still have V20 installed and the prologs ...

Hello, I'm going through the refactoring functions in Author V20. What is the "Rename in" command for (under "Refactoring" in the "Document" menu)? At first I thought it was the same as "Rename" under "Refactoring" in the right-click menu, but having...

Sorry, but I've only just noticed this.
By Preferences->Open/Find Resource, do you mean the Options link in the Open/Find Resource dialog?
(It seems to be working anyway, so thanks for fixing it.)

Re: Problem Using conkeyref with glossentry
Hello Radu, Yes, I tried what you suggested. For example, the main glossary reuses some entries from the Canon glossary, so I have these keys in the map: <keydef keys="canon-1" href="canon-gloss.dita#canon-gloss-1"/> <keydef keys="canon-2" href="canon-gloss.dita#ca...

Re: Problem Using conkeyref with glossentry
Hello Radu, Apologies for bringing this up again. I tried creating a glossary the way you suggested (multiple keys, each pointing to an individual topic (glossentry) in the glossgroup) and, as far as I can tell, it's not allowed. The reason being, the key points to the glossgroup, but you have to sp...

Re: Printing tracked changes/comments
Hello Radu, Thanks again for the replies. 1. Changes at map level are not shown in the table of contents. → What kind of changes? Basically, added and deleted topic references, so that you can look at the TOC and tell that a topic reference has been added/changed/deleted. Also, changes to the struct...

Re: Problem Using conkeyref with glossentry
Hello Radu, About picking up the error when validating glossentry conkeyref="keyname/id", this seems to be an improvement in V19.1. I installed it yesterday evening and validating at map level does pick it up. (But validating the individual topic does not.) Until then, I'm sure Oxygen wasn...

Re: Problem Using conkeyref with glossentry
Hello Radu, Thanks again for the reply. I understand the reasoning behind not allowing ids after the key name now, although the way the file was originally constructed makes sense to me. (It seems cumbersome to define a key for every glossentry.) A couple of follow-up questions based on this: Should...

Re: Problem Using conkeyref with glossentry
Hello Radu. Thanks for the quick reply. We noticed this because we have someone creating a general manual for some printing software, as well as specific manuals for specific printers (Canon, Ricoh, etc). Each of those manuals has a glossary file (created with multiple glossentries in a glossgroup)....

Problem Using conkeyref with glossentry
Hello, Using V19.0, if I try to insert a glossentry by conkeyref using the Reuse Content page, I get a "Conref was not expanded" error. It seems that Oxygen isn't picking up the referenced id in the "Reference to" field - just the key name. When I select a target ID and click &qu...

Skins for WebHelp Plugin Output
Hello, I have a few questions about WebHelp Plugin output. 1. Does the plugin include the same alternative skins that are offered in oXygen? 2.
