Re: Schematron pattern not returning error; unsure why
Hi Radu, The culprit turned out to be a duplicate copy of my schema that I didn't know was in my framework file. With your confirmation that my code was correct, I went through the steps for extending the framework again and found the errant file. When I deleted it and reconfigured my settings, my s...

Schematron pattern not returning error; unsure why
I'm working on developing custom rules for my team with Schematron. I'm trying to start off with a simple--but relevant--rule. I followed oXygen's help to create a custom framework and add my custom schema. I have confirmed that I did this successfully and my schema is applied to validation. However...

Adding a custom Style to Author without duplicate DITA framework?
I've built a team-specific Hints Style, modeled after the oXygen default one. I've activated it for myself by following the instructions here: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/18.0/ug-author/topics/selecting-combining-multiple-css-styles.html#selecting-combining-multiple-css-styles However, I ...

Replace with suggestions configurable?
My team is trying to use a custom terms list for company-specific terms and style preferences. We created a .tdi file added it to the Dictionaries preferences. Spell check now recognizes those words and does not flag them as errors. However, we also want the Replace With suggestions to draw from the...

Re: Review comments missing important features
Yes, that was the issue. They've all been sternly reminded to complete their upgrade.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Review comments missing important features
Hi Radu, That may be the issue. They were all instructed to upgrade to 18 several weeks ago, but I didn't check whether the affected people had actually done so. I didn't know this function could be affected by whether or not they were still on 17. I will check that and let you know if that was the ...

Review comments missing important features
My team is experimenting with oXygen's track changes/review features. We are currently facing an issue where the non-author of a review comment doesn't see the full set of options in the right-click contextual menu. Whereas the author sees Reply, Edit, Mark Done, etc., the other members only see Sho...

Re: cross-references and title link text
Checking the topics today, it appears to be a refresh issue. When I initially build the cross-reference, the link text generally does not auto-generate. If I close and re-open the file, it appears. Sometimes the link does auto-generate right away, though. The unpredictability is confusing, but somet...

Re: cross-references and title link text
Hi, I have a similar issue to what's described in this thread, except with <fig> and <step> instead of <section>. My xrefs resolve fine in my output, but in Author mode, they don't pull in the text. (i.e. <xref href="#concept_kyq_q4y_g4/cr_dialogue" type="fig"/> correctly resolve...

Re: CHM transform and context-sensitive help
Hi Sorin, I think I may have phrased my question poorly because this answer seems broader than I need. I have a map file (.h) already. I've tested my map file's validity by using RoboHelp to create a CHM, and it works. But this adds an extra step and an extra tool to the workflow, and I'm trying to ...

CHM transform and context-sensitive help
I'm trying to figure out the a way to create CHM output that includes context-sensitivity. I thought I could point the args.htmlhelp.includefile parameter to my .h file, but that didn't work. My CHM still didn't have pass the context-sensitive test.

Re: Using the Word to DITA transform
Thanks! I was able to add the required parameter to the transformation scenario, and the transform is using the correct file. I still haven't gotten the mapping to work successfully, but I'm a lot closer than I was and am optimistic I can debug the problem style. If you can pass feedback onto your o...

Re: Using the Word to DITA transform
Hi Radu, Thanks for the link to the DITA 4 Publishers user guide. That's very helpful. However, I'm still unclear on where I do the style to tag mapping. The user guide indicates that there should be a configurable parameter in oXygen called styleMapUri. I should use that parameter to point to my st...

Using the Word to DITA transform
I'm trying to figure out if I can use oXygen Editor to convert Word documents to DITA directly, but I can't find information in the User Guide to explain how this transform works. The background is that I work in an environment where I regularly use Mif2Go to convert Frame files to DITA. I am good w...
