Re: language

The args.dita.locale parm controls the sort order for the index. To change strings like "Parent topic", you have to set xml:lang="fr" for each topic (e.g. <concept xml:lang="fr">)

ODF transform arg.rellinks ignored

The ODF (also known as ODT) output does not include any Related Links, even if arg.rellinks is set to "all."

CHM character entity issue

Using oXygen 15.2.

The DITA source has character entity &#8594; (right arrow). In XHTML output, the result is as expected, but in CHM output, a ? character is substituted.

Re: WebHelp Search problem for some DITA title innertext

My apologies -- I had already posted about this in the Frameworks > DITA forum, and I understand it has been resolved in oXygen 15.

WebHelp Search problem for some DITA title innertext

oXygen 14.2, build 2013021115 I'm using DITA to document an XML format. For each element in the format, I have a reference topic named for the element; for example: <title><ThisElement></title> Note the < and > characters. In the WebHelp output, the title of the topic is shown correctly with angle b...

WebHelp Search does not find title containing angle brackets

I'm using DITA to document some XML. I've noticed that if the title contains angle brackets (As in

Code: Select all

<title>Using the <Line> element</title>
, the title is not included in the Search results. There is some text from the topic, but no title and no link.

BUG?: DITA thead @morerows cause bad colwidth in WebHelp

In a DITA table, if thead has two rows, and the cells in the first column are spanned using morerows, then in oXygen WebHelp output, the second column can be wider than specified by the colwidth. (I have not examined the original DITA-OT HTML output.) Here is a sample table to demonstrate the proble...

Re: Adding breadcrumbs to CHM Help

Thanks for the reply. WebHelp is our main output, and the breadcrumbs there work well. I'd have to double-check, but I don't think args.breadcrumbs has any effect on the WebHelp output. If that's true, it would be worth a note in the documentation. We also deliver in CHM format, but there's no urgen...

Adding breadcrumbs to CHM Help

oXygen 14.2, DITA-OT CHM transformation.

I've tried setting args.breadcrumbs to Yes, and specifying an html fragment for args.hdr (with some test text), but I'm not seeing breadcrumbs in the output. What else can I try?
