Hide indexterm in author view?
Hi,
While in author view, and editing DocBook documents, setting the tag filtering to "No Tags" does not hide <indexterm> tags. This occurs in 15.1 and 16.1.
Is there a way to hide <indexterm> tags so that they don't interfere with editing the main content?

Re: ANT Filter Tokens and Validation
Your explanation makes a lot of sense, and I'm pretty sure I can make this work now.
Thanks very much, Adrian!

Re: ANT Filter Tokens and Validation
Hi Adrian, I'm having difficulty adapting the example catalog definition you provided. If I use this: <catalog xmlns="urn:oasis:names:tc:entity:xmlns:xml:catalog"> <rewriteSystem systemIdStartString="file:/@common_xml_dir@/" rewritePrefix="file:///path/to/common_xml_dir"...

Re: ANT Filter Tokens and Validation
Adrian, I cannot simply use relative paths because the folder containing common elements is in different locations on different platforms (conforming to legacy file layout decisions, prior to conversion from FrameMaker to DocBook). The suggestion to use an XML catalog is a good one; I overlooked tha...

ANT Filter Tokens and Validation
Hi, Can I configure oXygen to understand ANT filter tokens in some way, so that DocBook <xi:include> tags can validate when their hrefs use a filter token to specify a path? For background, I manage a number of DocBook books with oXygen and each uses common elements, like copyright statements, that ...

Re: Separate legalnotice content into separate file?
Do you mean that the content of the legal notice shows up in the PDF output when you include inline in the <book> element the legal notice content, but not when you include it using XInclude? Yes. If this is your case then please make sure you have XInclude processing enabled by going to menu Optio...

Separate legalnotice content into separate file?
Hi, I have several DocBook books that all share common <legalnotice> content. I'd like to separate the <legalnotice> content into a separate file and include it like I would a chapter. When the <legalnotice> content is included from the separate file, the Author view shows that it has been included,...

Oxygen 14.1 built-in Apache FOP crash with hyphenate.verbatim
The built-in Apache FOP in Oxygen 14.1 can crash when hyphenate.verbatim is enabled, and the content in a programlisting tag includes either a trailing space, or multiple spaces in a row within a line. The crash is resolved and the PDF generates successfully if I install the 'fop' package for Ubuntu...

Re: Title Page Customization Problem
Last question: Is there a way to work around the problem with avoiding the absolute path to the original docbook.xsl in the import statement of my customized docbook.xsl? If you create an XML Catalog file, you can keep your custom XSL with your DocBook source files. Any co-contributors to your docu...
