Re: Commenting out with Cmd-Shift-7 fails

Hello Adrian, I am using <oXygen/> XML Editor 20.1, build 2018101517 on a Mac (Mojave 10.14.2) Java 1.8.0_172 Do you know if this is solved with Java 9? The problem with my workaround is that every text editor (for some definition of "every") uses cmd-shift-7 for toggle comments. So for oX...

Commenting out with Cmd-Shift-7 fails

In the XML editor I try to comment a selection of lines and use the command "switch comment" (I don't have the English vesion here) which I have bound to Cmd-Shift-7. What happens is that a comment appears and then dissapears. When I bind this command to another key (for example Cmd-F10), ...

Re: xinclude/relaxNG validation

Hello George, thank you very much, yet another feature of oXygen I didn't know about. I have got it to work partly yet, as I get a complain that in the subfile <bar> <sometag /> </bar> bar is not allowed, I should use one of bar, ..., or ... . But I'll update oXygen first and play with it first befo...

xinclude/relaxNG validation

Hi, I'd like to use xinclude in a main file and get validation (with RelaxNG) in the subfiles. Is this possible? That is: main.xml: <root> <foo xmlns:xi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XInclude" > <xi:include href="sub"/> </foo> </root> sub.xml: <bar> <sometag /> </bar> When I edit sub.x...

RelaxNG Compact + Schematron

Hi,

this is possibly not related to <oxygen/>. Is it possible to use schematron with the compact form of RelaxNG? If yes, could somebody give me a pointer (webpage?)

Thanks,

Patrick

Hi, the folding still leaves some bits (one line) visible and the author view is not really an option at a first glance. I am not even 100% sure about what I need. Perhaps putting everything (not just the tag) within <ourdoc:...> in a very light grey would suffice. So this might be a feature request...

Question: hide elements in XML view

Hi,

sometimes I wish to concentrate on writing in our XML-based language and hide the documentation elements, which all begin with <ourdoc:...>. Any way to hide these? Perhaps even a placeholder such as "..." could be diplayed instead.

@ george: this is a nice idea, too! This is probably even quicker...

Thanks to you both,

Thanks, Sorin, I have finally found it in the manual, I don't think this needs an update. This is perfectly clear, I was just looking at the wrong sections. Perhaps I should take a few minutes and have a closer look at the manual to see what is really in there.

Regards,

Keybinding Question: jump to another open file

Hi,

how do I jump to another open file in oxygen? Let's say I have two files open which are related. I am in file 1, want to change something in file 2 and then switch back to file 1. Is there a keybinding or a way to assign a keybinding to accomplish this?

Thanks,

Patrick
