I tried that, i got this message:

Validation Error Message: s4s-elt-character: Non-whitespace characters are not allowed in schema elements other than 'xs:appinfo' and 'xs:documentation'. Saw '.'.

I couldn't find the meaning of it.

It's not a space problem

I'm sorry, I'm new to XML world..

I'm trying to validate the file with JDOM Object (JAVA application), not XMLSPY.

The spaces are not present in the XSD file , only in this msg (copy-paste problem..)

Do you have any more ideas?

Solution to empty-decimal problem,date format still an issue
