Problems setting params in XSLT debugger

Recently, I've found that I'm having trouble setting parameters in the XSLT debugger (Oxygen 18.1 Editor/Enterprise/Macos 10.12). The debugger fails with "A value must be specified for parameter $config because there is no default value for the required type". However, I'm definitely setti...

Content Completion - schema documentation

My team write schemas in both XML Schema and RelaxNG. If we could have the ability to define a documentation schema in the same way as we can for XSLT our lives would become much simpler.

thanks

Support Scripting Languages for plugins

We (LexisNexis) are beginning to use oXygen more and more. However, we are only currently using it for the XML architects and engineers within the company. Our editors are all working in Arbortext Epic. The primary reason for this is that it has a high level embedded language for customisation. The ...

Adding Document Type Association Templates

Hi, I'm trying to add some new templates to the DITA Document Templates. I can save the setting but can't work out where that is saved. I've set Document Type Association data to be stored in the project config but this doesn't appear to be happening (there's nothing appropriate in the XPR files). L...

Re: Odd DTD validation issue

Hi Adrian

That's how I worked out that I was having some sort of problem - the schema and DTD files are found just fine as long as I'm in the XML editor. They're not found in any of the special DITA views or the XSLT debugger.

Odd DTD validation issue

I'm having a strange DTD validation issue with both oXygen 15 & 16. My project has a custom catalog loaded as well as the default. In the XML editor, the document validates with no problem. If I tried to transform this file using the XSLT debugger, the DTD is not found, almost as if the catalog ...

"stuck" layout

Can't think of a better way to describe this. For some reason (corrupt layout perhaps?), the validation errors panel is appearing on the right hand side as a vertically panel rather than along the bottom as is the default. I can't find any way to move it. Help? I'm assuming that I could delete the l...

Subversion Query

I'm in the (unfortunate) situation of having to use Windows at the moment. I've decided to use the SynchroSVN client as that means I don't have to deal with Tortoise. On my Linux machine I can fiddle with proxy settings for subversion by changing the servers file. What would I change in the Synchro ...

OS X Mavericks DP6 - no menus

Not really a bug report but more of a heads up. There are appears to be some change between OSX Mavericks DP5 and DP6 that stops menus initialising in oXygen. The application loads up perfectly well but there are no menus bar the Oxygen XML Editor top level menu (which has no menu items). I imagine ...

Odd XProc issue with cx:unzip

Hi I have an XProc script written for a client that seems to fail only when run as a transformation scenario in oXygen (13.2). Are there are known issues with dealing with Archives? The scenario passes the current archive name to the XProc as an option. This works (I can output the option value corr...

Transformation scenarios for archives

Currently you can reference the current archive as an editor variable in transformation scenarios. However, you can only do it when transformations are being applied to a file within an archive. It would be immensely useful to be able to apply those transformations directly to the archive file. I'm ...

XProc validation

I'm having a vaguely irritating issue with XProc and wondered if there is a sensible way to resolve this. I'm using the proposed p:template step in some of my scripts and I'd love to be able to get oXygen to validate my scripts. However, there doesn't actually seem to be a schema or DTD for XProc an...

Re: Editor variables - current archive file

Hi Adrian What we are running a series of QA scripts across EPUBs, mostly schematrons, wrapped in a single XProc to produce a report for clients. Rather like epubcheck but based on customer requirements rather the epub specification itselft. Also (see the post I made elsewhere just now), we have an ...

Re: [epub] Reorder playorder in toc.ncx

@George, that will fail when the NCX file contains the same path twice. We often do that when we have a book divided into parts. There is nothing in the content to indicate the path but we want some indication in the navigation: <navMap> <navPoint id="chapter01" playOrder="1"> <n...

Hi folks. Lovely work 12.2. Currently trying to get at least some of my publishing customers to buy copies for their EPUB QA teams. Anyways... XProc Transformation Scenarios - options

Right now, I can use oxygen variables ${currentFileURL} and so on in the inputs dialog. It would be very useful if these were available in the options and parameters dialogs as well.

It's pretty common to need to pass the URL for an input document into XProc as opposed to passing it as a source.

File Type Associations

When oXygen installs on a Mac or Windows it sets up some file type associations. This doesn't seem to the case when I set it up using gnome on Linux (Ubuntu 10.04 to be exact). Now, I've got the association working to some extent but I wanted to know if there is a correct way to associate XML files ...

Re: Bizarre Issue entering license

Yes, I'm using openJDK. Does that not work? I know the gcj VM isn't supported but there's no mention of openJDK. That's an interesting situation! I have to use an unsupported (by the OS maintainers) JDK because the supported one is not supported by oXygen!

I'll go reinstall. Thanks.

Bizarre Issue entering license

I'm installing oXygen on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx and just got as far as entering the license key. That works just fine. The problem is the dialog is rendering at some mad height (several hundred pixels more than the actual display height). So... there appears to be no way for me to hit the OK button after...
