Re: How to disable autosave
Thanks Radu. I assumed it was oXygen but you're right, it's from another plugin. Thank you!

How to disable autosave
Hi,
Is there a way to disable the oXygen Author autosave? We use oXygen 16.1.0 within Eclipse 4.3.2. I wasn't able to find it in the preferences.
Thanks,
Belinda Mayer

Word to DITA- image names and alt text
Hi, Hopefully I have the correct forum group. I'm working on converting a Word .docx document into XML. I followed the instructions by Radu at http://www.oxygenxml.com/forum/post28564.html#p28564 which have been very helpful. I have two questions about getting image info converted correctly: 1) Afte...

Re: Move Lines Up/Down in 15.1
I am using the Author view, not the text view but I don't see the options in the Refactoring menu and alt-up/down don't do anything. Let me know if you need more info. I could try an uninstall and re-install of oXygen to make sure it's not an install issue.

Move Lines Up/Down in 15.1
Hi,
Did the Move Lines Up (Alt+Up) and Move Lines Down (Alt+Down) move from the Refactoring right-click menu in 15.1? I see them in 15.0 but not 15.1.
We use oXygen within Eclipse 3.5.2.
Thanks,
Belinda

Re: oXygen 15 xref format attribute error
Hi Radu,
That 2nd option sounds interesting. If you had the default set in the insert link dialog box, I assume it would normally be html for most links, that would allow the user to change it before inserting it. That way they don't forget to update it correctly.
Cheers,
Belinda

Re: oXygen 15 xref format attribute error
Hi, Here's an example of a Livelink link I inserted, I blocked out the first portion and put x's in place for security reasons. <xref href="http://xxx/livelink/llisapi.dll?func=ll&objId=48370074&objAction=browse&sort=name" format="dll" scope="external"/> Tha...

Re: oXygen 15 xref format attribute error
Hi Radu,
In 15.1 I noticed that the fix to escape ampersand characters is there, thanks for fixing that. If I insert a Livelink link using the weblink icon, the format attribute is set to dll instead of html.
Thanks,
Belinda

View hidden characters like tab
Hi,
We use oXygen within Eclipse to author DITA XML documents. I was wondering if there is a way to view hidden characters like a tab vs space to see which one the user has used? This would be to see whether someone has used multiple spaces in a row or a tab.
Thanks,
Belinda

Re: oXygen 15 xref format attribute error
Thanks Radu, that works for now. For links with an ampersand is there any chance you can add a fix so that it escapes the ampersand the same way the Eclipse Attributes view does? Using the Attributes view, if you paste in a link with an ampersand it brings up a dialog box asking if you want to escap...

Re: oXygen 15 xref format attribute error
Hi Radu, Using the web link button (very cool), the format attribute value is taking the web link extension instead of setting to html. Examples: <p><xref href="http://www.blackberry.com" format="com" scope="external"/> <xref href="http://www.blackberry.ca" fo...

It shows up with both opening and saving any DITA files. If you want to provide your email address, I can email you a screen capture as well as my dita.css file.

Re: Syntax Highlight
Hi Radu, I was testing this out on the latest release 15 build in Eclipse. When I view a DITA XML topic with a processing instruction the font is blue, however, it's now opening up a Results window. It doesn't display anything in the Results but it opens it every time which can be a bit annoying. Ca...

oXygen 15 xref format attribute error
Hi, I am currently testing oXygen 15 version 2013061418 on Eclipse. We use both these to write DITA XML content. I noticed that if I insert an xref to an external website I get an oXygen warning stating "Reference with external scope to non-DITA resource does not have the "format" att...

How to set up profiling attributes for many users
Hi, We use oXygen as an Eclipse plugin for authoring DITA XML documents. We use a lot of profiling attributes for the DITA document type and the audience, platform, product, and otherprops attributes. We have many users and I'd like to "automate" the set up of profiling attributes if possi...

Re: Syntax Highlight
Thanks Costin, looks like CSS is the way to go then. I don't seem to be able to attach a screen capture to the post so I'll try to describe what I'm looking for. In Author view, we'd like to change processing instructions from purple text to black text. <p><?sample processing instruction?></p> Thank...

Syntax Highlight
Hi, We use oXygen Author 14.2 for DITA XML within Eclipse 3.5.2. We're trying to change the font colour for some XML elements, like Processing Instructions via Window > Preferences > oXygen > Editor > Syntax Highlight > XML. If I change the foreground colour I see the new colour via oXygen text view...

Profiling attributes for table rows
Hi, We use oXygen Author rel 13 within Eclipse for DITA XML. I have a couple of questions regarding profiling attributes for table rows. I searched the forum but didn't find anything and my apologies in advance if this is available in rel 14. To condition an entire table row we click within the row ...

Re: Line wrap for comments and processing instructions
Thanks Radu, that CSS fix worked. On a related note, if you do a print of an XML DITA document and select Adobe PDF as the printer the text is now wrapped for the standalone version of oXygen Editor but not for the Eclipse version of oXygen. Is there another change to implement to get that working o...

Re: Line wrap for comments and processing instructions
Thanks Radu for the quick reply. We're editing DITA XML documents. We use the Eclipse Author plug-in version, although since I'm in support I have a standalone version of Editor. I confirmed the issue happens in both. If you can pass along the CSS that would be great. I'd have to look into our plans...

Line wrap for comments and processing instructions
When viewing content in Author view in oXygen, comments and processing instructions that are long lines of text don't line wrap. Is there a way to have them wrapped so you don't have to scroll to the right? I have Preferences, Editor, Edit Modes, Text, Line wrap checked off but it doesn't appear to ...
