Re: Extension for validation
This is only done when using the "Validate and check for completeness" action available in the DITA Maps Manager. Are you using this approach? Yes, it's that check that I'm talking about! It's a large document with many cross-references, so I like that option to see if I didn't leave any ...

Extension for validation
Hi, We have some automation that includes a sort of "preprocessing step", where some DITA content is generated automatically. This preprocessing content has ID's so that it can be cross-referenced. The content that I'm authoring in oXygen sometimes cross-references that preprocessing conte...

Get path from DITAExtensionsBundle
Hi, We have our own DITAExtensionsBundle, which creates a DITAUniqueAttributesRecognizer, and thus generates IDs for us. I want to let the ID depend on the project that is opened. Is there any way, inside above classes (childs thereof) to obtain a handle to any such information; either the project f...

Re: Shortcut key for Cross References
Hi, The Preview area in the dialogs used to insert conrefs, xrefs uses only the "dita.css". If you make the changes directly there, they should be visible in the Preview area. That's good to know. Perhaps for future versions it is possible to use whatever style sheet is set as the first/de...

Re: Shortcut key for Cross References
Hi, Then if the topic is opened in the Author page there is a toolbar drop-down button called CSS . You should find your alternate CSS stylesheet here and if applied it should only show the small icon before xref links. How about using this CSS also in the preview in the Insert Reference screen? I h...

Re: Invalid xref format
Hi Radu,
Thanks for that, I'll happily await whatever upcoming release can fix this, and meanwhile I'll fix by hand or regularly run the little tool that I made for it, no worry.
Kind regards, Sander.

Re: Invalid xref format
Hi, And how exactly is the new topic "External payment transaction handled.dita" referenced in the DITA Map? Incorrectly: <topicref href="Operator%20Web%20UI/Test Test.dita"/> Did you edit the DITA Map in the Text page or did you use our actions to insert a topicref? It is put th...

Re: Invalid xref format
Hi, Even though cleaning up all my xrefs, after I just created an entirely new topic, and trying to link to it, things went wrong again: <p id="FS14178">An <xref href="../Miscellaneous/Event%20Types%20Listed/External payment transaction handled.dita#topic_ajl_ns3_2h" format="...

Re: Invalid xref format
Thanks for that. Could you check in your DITA Map that all topic references are properly escaped? They weren't. So, as I said here , I cleaned up all hrefs. So let's see what happens. We can also modify the format detection on our side to make it more robust. I think that would be a good idea anyhow.

Invalid xref format
Hi, Somehow I manage to insert xrefs like this: <p id="FS939">The transaction can be cancelled. A <xref href="../Client Stations UI/Overall%20Client%20Station%20UI%20Characteristics.dita#DynamicButtons" format="dita#DynamicButtons">dynamic button</xref> is used as the c...

Re: Cannot load the associated CSS file(s)
It seems there is a confusion between: ... Did I misunderstand your use of CSS files? I posted here merely to get the Author view in oXygen working well. However, I got the impression that you were telling me to fix that by pointing ${framework} to wherever my DITA-OT is installed that I can point ...

Re: Shortcut key for Cross References
Fixed in 14.0. Great stuff!Radu wrote:Hi Sander,Good observation, we will rectify this. That is a very useful dialog. One downside, though, it does not handle spaces very well, and it needs me to type %20 if the file name has a space in it.

Re: Cannot load the associated CSS file(s)
Hi Sorin, We actually have a number of documentation projects, each in its own folder, and configured as Maven project (see below). Even if you don't know about Maven, I'll quickly get to where my bottleneck is. /documentation /documentation/architecture /documentation/architecture/architecture.xpr ...

Cannot load the associated CSS file(s)
Hi, I've made a specialization in DITA-OT (put it in my DITA-OT1.5.4/demo/xxx folder), ran the integrator and added the resulting catalog-dita.xml to my document type in oXygen. I'm getting, though: Cannot load the associated CSS file(s). The error was: 'No CSS file specified.' It suggests to add a ...

Re: Shortcut key for Cross References
Also, on the subject of links in the Author view: is it possible to toggle the xref locations on and off, in the Author view.
I'm now seeing:
Bla bla %[Topic.dita#Title]bla bla%.
I would like to see:
Bla bla %bla bla%.

Re: Shortcut key for Cross References
Hi, That was a very useful response. Thank you for that. 5) In the same Insert Reference dialog the button which allows you to chose the target file is actually a drop down. In Oxygen 13.2 we added in that drop-down an entry called Search for file . That action allows you to quick search in all the ...

Shortcut key for Cross References
Hi. I love adding more Cross References to my documents. But I think that the process of doing so is a bit too complicated. I know, it's nothing spectacular that you have to do to add a Cross Reference, but when you do a lot of them, it gets annoying. 1. Expand the DITA menu 2. Expand the Link sub-m...
