DITA-OT with PDF with XEP indices
I've got an issue with the index ouput. I have a topic which defines: <indexterm>frequency plot</indexterm> and another that defines: <indexterm>frequency plot<indexterm>grouped</indexterm></indexterm> The generated output is: frequency plot 70–71, 97 grouped 97 Basically the grouped frequency plot ...

Re: Page break in PDF
I've figured that the property is going to have to go in topic.topic.title for it to work in a bookmap. I'm just struggling to modify the XPath expression to work properly in that context.

Re: Page break in PDF
I've set the temp folder not to be cleaned so I'm starting to understand more by digging through the files. I tried the suggested solution but it didn't do anything. I'm trying to debug why not. Even I set the <xsl:otherwise> statement to page there's still no breaks when it produces the output.

Page break in PDF
I have a few topic groups in a chapter that I would like to start on new page as they belong together rather than just flowing from the previous set of topics. I was hoping I could do it with the following in the XSLT: <xsl:attribute-set name="topicgroup"> <xsl:attribute name="break-b...

DITA-OT PDF output indices
Hi,
I've noticed in an Index you can end up with entries like
Histogram 11, 11, 24
This is due to 2 topics with the same indexterm been put on the same page in the output. Anyone have a hack for the XSLT to drop duplicate page numbers in an index entry?
Regards,
Simon

Pagination
Has anyone modified the keep-together rules to support better pagination from the DITA-OT with Apache FOP. I notice things like a stepresult are allowed to flow onto a new page without the step. Likewise I get the odd 1 line paragraph in a table that gets split to the next page. Do any of the other ...

DITA-OT PDF plugin notices
I've added a notices section to a DITA bookmap. The notices refers to a concept topic that contains copyright and trademark information. On PDF output I would like the text to be styled in a smaller font-size. However, it gets all the default sizes that any other topic would as expected. I tried put...

Re: DITA-OT PDF plugin
I'm trying to rearrange the table of contents so I have a page number before the topic title. I have this working by moving the page number block above the title. I then use the fo:leader to indent the titles depending on their level. However, where the page number changes from single digits to doub...

Re: DITA-OT PDF plugin
I may have answered this myself. It's because I have a title specified whereas if i just let DITA autogenerate the text from the topic tile it includes the page number.

Re: DITA-OT PDF plugin
I have another question. I don't know if I need to modify the XSLT or if I'm missing an attribute on my XML. I have an xref to another topic in a step: <step> <cmd><xref href="DeactivatingLicense.dita">Deactivate the license on your existing computer.</xref></cmd> </step> The PDF output ge...

DITA-OT PDF plugin
How do I change the behavior of chapter numbering. The default behavior is to generate chapters numbered 1 to N in each part. I want chapters to be numbered continuously.

Re: Auto generating collection from ditamap
Thanks for your response. I was reading the following book: http://www.scriptorium.com/books/the-dita-style-guide-best-practices-for-authors/ It suggested not to create stem topics manually using x-ref but that the stucture should be in the ditamap and the list for the step topic created automatical...

Auto generating collection from ditamap
Hi, I am trying to auto-generate a list of topics from the ditamap after a brief introduction paragraph. I have created 3 files. <concept id="concept_y1k_rdj_tf"> <title>Introduction</title> <shortdesc>This is the introduction</shortdesc> <conbody> <p>There are 2 types.</p> </conbody> </co...
