Windows application switching via Alt-Tab is buggy
Dear oXygen support team, I have noticed the following buggy behaviour of oXygen application. Make directory comparison and open a file comparison in new window. Press Alt-Tab several times. On first Alt-Tab OS correctly switches to previous opened application window (in my case that was browser win...

How to perform "Compare Directories" always in new window?
Dear oXygen support team, I would like to make a directory comparison for two pairs of directories independently. Unfortunately, I failed to do it, as each time I make a directory comparison the old comparison is overwritten. The same for file comparison. Is there any option "Make new compariso...

Re: oXygen: Compare files: "Next Change" behaves differently when invoked in current change block or from previous block
Just want to add: all mentioned in my previous post concerns the copying of changes from right to left, with caret being in the right file.
When the caret is in the left, the merging works smoother.

Re: oXygen: Compare files: "Next Change" behaves differently when invoked in current change block or from previous block
Adrian, thanks for feedback! Hi, If we would change this to only navigate the individual changes and not the blocks, you would have to keep going back and forth between the Next/Previous Change and Next/Previous Block when merging the files. From your explanation I suppose that "Next Change&quo...

Support team, I wonder if above mentioned improvement/fix is feasible? It certainly improves the productivity when there is a need to quickly push changes (left-right or right-left).

oXygen: "Compare Directories" report that files are different
Sorry, I couldn't really understand the reason of "Compare Directories", but for the test XML files it reports that the files are different, although the contents seems to be identical. Test files: test.zip Screenshot: http://i29.fastpic.ru/thumb/2011/1104/a1/528c421a9c207bf79bf0555d52da18...

oXygen: Compare files: "Next Change" behaves differently when invoked in current change block or from previous block
Suppose we have a block of changes (let's call it X), which has some preceding common block A. When the caret is placed inside block X and "Next Change" function is invoked, the next change is correctly highlighted. When the caret is placed before block X (e.g. inside block A) and "Ne...

oXygen: Jumping to next file in "Compare Files" changes the window size from maximized to normal
The "Compare Files" window has a function to jump to next file, when the end of current file is reached (see this topic). However when jumping to next file occurs, the "Compare Files" window size changes from initially maximized to normal.
Expected: it stays maximized.

XML Diff: Go to next difference after copying the change
There is no option Go to next difference after copying the change in XML Diff to jump to next difference block after copying the current one to left or right. This option enabled will allow to merge the whole document quickly just by invoking the copy action.

XML Diff: The difference is shown as one big chunk
The attached example is an extreme one. It would be nice if XML Diff can display the difference between the two given documents not as one block, but as several, each block ending on new line. Currently it is displayed as one block.

In the shown example the comparison of the line is not optimal: The letter f is taken from hre f , so the sequence is "fragmented". It is expected that is is less fragmented. http://i25.fastpic.ru/thumb/2011/0823/c5/af5963334d1374f667a2fdf8e04faac5.jpeg Text on the left: <?xml-stylesheet t...

Tag surrounding: improving tag suggestion dialog
I think that Specify tag dialog (Alt-Shift-E) can be improved in certain ways: When the dialog is initially shown, the tag name in edit field is not selected. Your example is an XHTML document with embedded TEI, however the associated schema only covers TEI and Oxygen does not validate the XHTML side of it. As a result the embedded TEI snippets don't have the proper context so both the content completion(when editing) and Elements view don't work as expe...
