Tree editor / expande & collapse: performance
Hi,
when I browse larger files (500-1500 lines) and expande or collapse the complete tree this takes some time. I guess that this could be improved. Developers would not like to wait 3-15 secs (or even more) until the tree is redisplayed.
Thanks.

Browsing is much more important that editing ...
Hi, when designing tools for developers, an interesting and important question is: is the main idea and "philosophy" targeted to READ development files or to EDIT such files? From my point of view the answer is very clear: if you work together with many other colleagues then a concrete fil...

Tree Editor: colors improve readability /
Hi, often the tree editor is helpful for browsing XML files. Sometimes I have problems to get an overview of larger XML files. From my point of view the readability could be improved by: o use colors as configured in the settings o hide the icons; I think they DECREASE the readability o or use icons...

Format and indent: keep blank lines
Hi, the format and indent facility in oXygen is very helpful. I often browse XML files that have many empty lines inserted for increasing the readability. When I now format and indent such files all blank lines are deleted! Although the indentation is now ok and enhances the readability the missing ...

Plugin EA2 for Eclipse M6; suggestion for outline
Hi, I think there are possibilities to enhance the great new outline in Eclipse. I would be helpful to offer a possibility to see also attributes and maybe values in the outline view. E.g. a function/button/context menu entry could allow to see/hide the attributes beside or (better?) below the eleme...

Plugin EA2 for Eclipse M6; expanding/collapsing the outline
Hi, the new outline facility in Eclipse using the EA2 prerelease is great! Maybe I missed something. When browsing large XML files I would like to get a fast overview of the complete outline. Therefore I have to expand EACH node manually. This is really exhausting. I would suggest to integrate expan...

Hi George, >It should remember the window size if it is not forced closed. I did a regular File->Exit. oXygen did not remember the last maximal state. >Please change also some other option like the bakground color for instance and see if it remembers it after a restart. I changed the background colo...

Hi, currently I use Eclipse 3.0 M6. I have purchased a licence with a maintenance pack. My understanding is that I have to use oXygen 3.0 EA for the M6 release of eclipse. Remembering window size
Hi, when I start oXygen the window heigth is maximal, the window width is about 4/5 of the maximal width. When I maximize the window, then close oXygen, and then start the tool again the old window size (4/5 of the screen width) is used again. Maybe I missed something. Is there a facility to force t...
