Cycling open windows is limited to two windows
I'm using Oxygen 20.1 on Mac OS X El Capitan (10.11.6). I frequently have three windows open: the editor, the SVN Client, and the Compare Directories window, and I frequently need to switch from window to window. Normally in any given application on Mac, I would be able to hit Command-` to cycle amo...

Re: XSLT timeout
Adrian, Thank you very much for the suggestions. Yes, the large XML document I was processing was located on a network drive. As you suggested, I moved the whole process to local disk. But I didn't actually try this again in oXygen. Instead I used Saxon at the command line, which worked fine. Doing ...

XSLT timeout
Using Saxon EE for XSLT transformation of a very large document, where each "record" in the XML is output to a file on disk, the XSLT process fails with a timeout error. Is there a way to increase the time limit?

Re: SVN client: connection error
Never mind. The problem turned out to be a change related to the SSL certificate by the hosting service that hosts my SVN repository. Problem solved.

SVN client: connection error
The SVN client is producing the following error when I attempt such operations as browsing the repository or syncronizing with the repository: Browsing error: svn: E175002: Connection has been shutdown: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Could not generate DH keypair svn: E17500...

Re: Can't upgrade working copy to SVN 1.8
Thanks for the explanation. Following your advice, I find that I have no problem checking out a working copy in SVN 1.8 format on my local hard disk and then making changes, committing, etc.

Can't upgrade working copy to SVN 1.8
I recently upgraded to Oxygen 16.1 and find that the SVN client now requires that I upgrade my working copies to 1.8 (from 1.6 currently). The SVN client prompts me to do this when I try to open a working copy, but when I click "Yes" to do so, I get this error message: Operation failed: sv...

Mouse pointer overlays typing
The mouse pointer should disappear when the user begins typing and reappear when the user moves the mouse. Otherwise the mouse pointer can overlay the spot on the screen where the user is typing. This happens with surprising frequency. Every other text editor I've used, from simple plain-text editor...

Thanks, Ionela. Somehow I'd never noticed that the path is shown in the window title bar.

Path to current file not always displayed in editor
When working in the main editor and editing XML-related file types (such as XML and XQuery), the full system path of the file currently being edited is displayed at the lower left corner of the Oxygen window. For some other file types (such as CSS and JavaScript), the path doesn't get displayed. I r...

Re: Can't upgrade Subversion working copy to 1.7
I tried checking out a new working copy (using Oxygen SVN client) with 1.7 as the format, with the same network share as the destination, but that failed with the same error message. I then tried installing the 1.7 svn command-line tool on my Mac, and I didn't bother to determine why, though perhaps...

Can't upgrade Subversion working copy to 1.7
Having upgraded to oXygen 14.1, including its SVN client that supports SVN 1.7, I'm unable to upgrade my SVN working copies. I get the following error message: Operation failed: svn: E200030: java.io.IOException: Operation not supported The SVN service I'm using (Assembla.com) supports 1.7, so I don...

Generating XQuery documentation: processing a directory
I'm running oXygen 13.1 on Mac OS 10.6.8. I'm trying to run xqdoc using Tools --> Generate Documentation --> XQuery Documentation. In the dialog, under "Input" I want to use the "Folder" option to process a directory. When I click the folder icon to browse to a particular directo...

Re: Default attributes from DTD during XSLT transformation

Default attributes from DTD during XSLT transformation
When an XML document declares the DTD associated with it using the DOCTYPE declaration, I want to be able to transform the document with XSLT (2.0, so I'm using Saxon) in such a way that the DTD is ignored when the document is parsed prior to transformation, because I don't want the default attribut...

Re: batch XSLT messages
Adrian, Thanks for the quick reply. I'm glad to know it's on your list. In the meantime, is there a way to redirect <xsl:message> output to a file? Couldn't find anything obvious in Preferences. I also tried using <xsl:message terminate="yes"> but that results in a generic error message fr...

batch XSLT messages

Further experimentation shows that the content completion mechanism fails only if the text-insertion caret is immediately followed by something other than whitespace. For example, if typing at the edge of the editor pane as follows: <p>... The problem occurs <emph>here|</p> where the | (vertical bar...

Failure to return to Model tab when returning to XML editing
When editing an XML document with the Model pane visible in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, if I switch to editing an XSLT document, the pane in the upper right-hand corner of the screen switches automatically to the Stylesheet tab. When I return to editing the XML document, the pane does...

end-tag autocompletion problem
When a line of text is long enough to extend beyond the right-hand edge of the text editor pane, and when I am typing near the edge of the editor pane, end-tag autocompletion does not work. In other words: if I am typing in the editor pane and I am not near the right-hand edge of the editor pane, I ...
