Re: Getting started with XSpec

Aha. Dodgy frameworks folder. I reset it to the default from the one it had picked up from a previous installation and now the Apply Transformation Scenario(s) button works as you described. It would still be a good idea to make it explicit in the help how it is supposed to work, as without that inf...

Re: Getting started with XSpec

Hmm, I have disassociated my saved .xspec file from any transformation scenario, just as it was when I first created it, but when I click on Apply Transformation Scenario(s) , the Transform with dialogue comes up, prompting me to choose an existing transformation scenario. Looks as if I must be miss...

Getting started with XSpec

Hi, I watched the recent Part 3 Webinar (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O2DaFxE9qE) and looked at the help (http://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-editorEclipse/topics/xslt-unit-test-xspec.html). They're both fine on how to set up a set of XSpec unit tests, and I am keen to get started, but they are both ...

Re: Ambiguous content model: element particle <topic> appears in more than one place in the content model

Hi Radu - sorry I was on holiday. I didn't make it clearer that I am using my own custom transforms, not the DITA Open Toolkit. So in theory at least, that should mean I am not using the catalog-dita.xml. Maybe I just need to disable the Document Type Association for DITA for that project - would th...

Ambiguous content model: element particle <topic> appears in more than one place in the content model

I've just created a new project and copied over some stylesheets from an old project to process my DITA transforms. I've probably done something daft, but using the same XML + XSLT + (in theory) XSD files I used in the old project, when I run any of the transforms I get the desired output, but then ...

Re: Creating a "Merge" type OT transform

Thank you very much for the suggestion. Yes, that does sound as if it might be what I need. I shall look into that further to see if I can use it.

Re: Creating a "Merge" type OT transform

Thank you for the suggestion although I'm not quite sure if that will help. The purpose of the exercise is to get a single DITA XML file that I can then run a different stylesheet on to create bespoke XML structures for various production purposes. I had a poke at the DITA-OT build file that our CMS...

Creating a "Merge" type OT transform

Hello, One of the transformation types available in the DITA-OT (at least in 1.4.3) is "merge", which produces a single file from a set of dita topics tied together by a map. We've been using it in our CMS to produce a single-file output, but for various reasons, the CMS transform is broke...

Help with outputting domain-specific elements

This is probably a very simple question. I am converting legacy XML data to a DITA-compliant XML format. Currently, when I am editing the XSLT file which will perfom this transformation, the Elements view and the content completion show me HTML and XSLT elements. Is there any way I can configure Oxy...

Re: DITA map targets

Thank you very much - it was indeed the missing DTD that was causing this problem! We're trying to get away from using DTDs in general, so I'd only generated a schema reference in the file, but I'll make sure it has a DOCTYPE declaration from now on.

DITA map targets

I've been trying to follow the Help instructions on how to create a DITA map for a large single file DITA publication. The source XML file is the entire book wrapped in a <dita> element and subdivided into child <topic> elements; it is valid against the DITA schema in Oxygen. I would like to create ...
