Sharing Oxygen settings with co-workers

Hi, I have created some transformation scenarios and want to share them with one of my colleagues, including ditaval files that I have made. Can I do this automatically using projects or some other method? I have looked at using the project, but I really cannot understand what that even does. I am s...

Re: HTML "rolled up" files in output

Hi,

Just for information, there is an attribute called chunk that you can use in the ditamap to control this type of output, see http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.1/OS ... nking.html

Cheers!

HTML "rolled up" files in output

Hi, Is it possible to change the 1:1 mapping of topics to HTML files in output? I am using DITA-OT and using the XHTML transformation scenario. I have nested topicrefs in my ditamap, and what I want to do is to generate a single HTML file for each second level heading, rather than have a separate HT...

Small caps in PDF output

Hi, Has anyone else had a problem trying to get Small caps in PDF output? In my attribute set, I have this line as one of the attributes: <xsl:attribute name="font-variant">small-caps</xsl:attribute> The .fo file has output on all the correct blocks, like: <fo:block font-size="10"...

Re: Missing link to Preface in TOC

Hi Radu,

Thanks for your time. I found that the error was because I have customised the XSLT quite a lot, and I had omitted the creation of an ID for the preface. I added that in and it worked fine.

Regards,

John

Missing link to Preface in TOC

Hi, I am using Oxygen 12 and the DITA-OT to generate a PDF file. I have the situation where my Preface title appears in the PDF TOC and bookmarks, but the link does not work. Also, in the TOC, the page number for the Preface is missing. All the other links work and have the correct page number. Does...

Error when switching to Oxygen 12.1

Hi, I have just installed Oxygen 12.1 alongside Oxygen 12. I have been building a PDF using the DITA-OT and have a successful PDF output in Oxygen 12. I have done the following: 1. In Oxygen 12.1 folder, renamed the DITA-OT folder in frameworks/dita to DITA-OT_original. 2. Copied my existing DITA-OT...

Problem with inline bold and italic text in DITA transformat

Hi, I am using Oxygen 12 and transforming my DITA files into PDF. I have some text marked up using the DITA bold or italic elements, but when the transformation to PDF occurs, the text does not appear as bold or italic. When I look at the .fo file, the bold or italic attribute is in the <fo:inline> ...

I solved this by using the maptitle variable that was already defined, so I would guess that my definition of the logotype variable was wrong...

How to specify a conditional test in a choose element?

Hi, I am creating a PDF and want to use a logo on the cover that depends on information in the booktitlealt element of the ditamap. This is what I have done: <xsl:variable name ="logotype"> <xsl copy-of select="/bookmap/booktitle/booktitlealt'/> </xsl:variable> <xsl:choose> <xsl:when ...

Roman numeral in TOC pages

Hi, Does anyone know how to get the page numbers of a TOC in a PDF file to be Roman style? I am making a PDF using the DITA-OT files in Oxygen 12. In my bookmap, I have files at the <frontmatter><notices> level and also the <frontmatter><preface> level that have Roman page numbers, so I can't unders...

How do I specify the output PDF file name?

Hi, Is there any way to specify the name of the output PDF file using the OxygenXML author interface? I have a DITAMAP that generates several different outputs, depending on the conditions I apply in a transformation scenario. However, the resulting PDF file always has the same name as the DITAMAP. ...

Re: Change PDF output

Thanks very much Radu! Is there any kind of guide or document that will allow me to track down these objects easily? I assume that they will be scattered through different xsl files?

Change PDF output

I have just started using the DITA PDF output in Oxygen. I want to know how to make changes to the paragraph styles that appear in the PDF. For example, the Note style is truly awful, with a graphic on the left and then a very large empty space, with the text squashed over on the right. It looks lik...
