Re: Running Oxygen with Java 1.7 on OS X

Hi, how do I configure Oxgen 14.1 to work with Java 1.7 on Lion? I did not find a helpful answer to this question in this thread. I've downloaded and installed the most recent JRE from the oracle site. I need Java 1.7 because it is supposed to support Tibetan script with Unicode. I've been waiting f...

Formatting documentation in tooltip window

Hi,

is there a way to do some basic formatting within the yellow tooltip window that is generated from <xsd:annotation><<xsd:documentation>....?
At the very least it would be nice to have line breaks. Is that possible?

giving colours to tags its content with XPath

Hello, for our linguistic annotation, it would be useful to have different colours for different tags. E.g. we have a <tok> element and we would like to have a different colour for the <clause> element. It also depends on the nesting level, so probably it would be nice to be able to use Xpath in ord...

how to enable TEI names and dates Tagset?

Hi, I'm trying to use the additional tag set for names and dates in TEI, so I tried inserting this into the DOCTYPE-Declaration: <!ENTITY % TEI.namesdates 'INCLUDE'> However, when I try to use a tag from this tagset like <persName>, I get an error message, that this element is not declared. Replacing apostroph with XPath

Hi, I have a tag <note> containing text with apostrophs. Is there a way to replace them with another character that does not bring about trouble? E.g. I'd like to use a javascript alert window to display <note>, but with these pesky apostrophs I gt an error message. I've already tried 'translate', b...

Thanks for the answer. I'm afraid that doesn't solve my problem yet. Maybe my English wasn't so clear. What I mean is that the cursor is somewhere in a word that is delimited with space left and right. I just want this word to be selected for surround actions like the one you mentioned without using...

marking a word with a keyboard shortcut

Hi,

I need to be able to mark words very quickly with the keyboard. Something comparable to the double-click with the mouse on a word. That would speed up my work a lot. How can I get that?

two lines for bar on top of editor windows with open files ?

Hi,

in a previous version of oXygen the bar on top of the editor window showing the open files could extend over more than one line. How can I do that in 7.1? I find it a bit inconvenient to use the arrow-right and arrow-left icons to find out which other files are open.

Thank you,

Frank

Hi Sorin, thanks for your answer. anti-aliasing was not activated. Formating and indenting has also become slower and slower. Now it takes a few seconds. There is no problem with scrolling.
