Table column resize
Hello
Does XML Web Author table have UI interactive methods of resizing table columns like Java Applet XML Editor has?
Or is the only way to enter numeric values in column spec?
Couldn't find the way, but maybe I am clicking into wrong location

Re: Table column resize
Hello,
Web Author does not support column width resize with drag and drop, for the moment (you can only change the column specification).
We already have an issue registered in our internal issues tracker and we added your vote for it.
We will update this thread when this feature will be available.
Best Regards,
Mihaela

Re: Table column resize
Hello,
We wanted to let you know that Web Author version 28 has been released and you can now resize table columns simply by dragging the column separator [1].
To see what else this new version brings, you can visit the What’s New section -> https://www.oxygenxml.com/xml_web_author/whats_new.html

Thanks for the update, Cosmin. The ability to resize table columns by simply dragging the separator is a very welcome improvement and makes the editing experience much more intuitive, especially for users who work with large or complex tables on a regular basis.cosminef wrote: ↑Fri Nov 28, 2025 4:05 pm Hello,

It’s great to see Web Author continuing to improve usability with features that make it feel closer to a modern document editor while maintaining its powerful XML capabilities. I’ll definitely check out the full list of new features in version 28. Looking forward to seeing what other enhancements have been introduced.
Thanks to the Oxygen team for continuously improving the platform and listening to user feedback!
