Export and Import Chats

A conversation with the AI can be exported to a JSON file using the Export Chat action (available in the Actions menu). The exported file includes helpful information such as details about the invoked action, its parameters, the tools available, the tool calls, the user and assistant messages, and, if applicable, the content that the action was invoked on.

You can import a conversation from a JSON file using the Import Chat action, allowing you to continue the conversation from that point.

These actions are particularly useful for debugging purposes. For instance, you can export a conversation and share it with the developer of a custom action to help them investigate any issues encountered. Once the issue is resolved, you can import the previous conversation and resume from where you left off.
