If you're using Arbortext tools, check if Arbortext Styler is available. While it's not free, you can either get a trial to get a feel, or perhaps it was shipped with the rest of the products. It's almost WYSIWIG and it can either save a proprietaly .styler or XSL, it can also import existing XSL, so it seems worthy to take a look.
