[xsl] Error handling extension
Subject: [xsl] Error handling extension From: Florent Georges <darkman_spam@xxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, 30 Jun 2007 23:53:44 +0200 (CEST) |
Hi A few months ago, I wrote a basic error handling extension for Saxon that provides something like exception handling in XSLT 2.0. The initial need was for a unit tests framework I'm writing for and in XSLT: unit tests have to test error occurrences and the test suite cannot stop in case of an error in one unit test. You can find more info there: http://fgeorges.blogspot.com/2007/06/error-handling-extension-for-xslt-20.html http://www.fgeorges.org/xslt/error-safe/ http://www.fgeorges.org/xslt/error-safe/error-safe.html The last link is the draft of a specification. I would like to have comments from the community. Do you think such an extension would be useful? What do you think about the specification draft?
