I apoligize to all for the inconvenience. I have a tendancy to treat the list as a sounding board which is an incorrect use. -Kevin -----Original Message----- From: Michael Kay [mailto:mike@xxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, September 22, 2005 9:19 AM To: xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: [xsl] Templates with same name but different argument param names The XSLT 1.0 spec doesn't say very much in section 6, Named Templates http://www.w3.org/TR/xslt#named-templates , but it does say this: It is an error if a stylesheet contains more than one template with the same name and same import precedence. You indicated you weren't sure whether this was a valid question for the list. I think that before asking *any* question on the list, you should take some steps to find out the answer from reference sources. If you can't find the answer, then it becomes a valid question.
