There seems to be something about nbsp that coerces people into
spreading misinformation.

Whether you enter the character as character data or as &#160; or (after
having defined the entity) as &nbsp; has _no effect_ on the running of
the stylesheet.

The same result (which might be character data, or &#160; or &nbsp;)
will be produced however you input the file.
