That meens you can begin a loading of XML document (or XSLT) without waiting for a completion - an event will be fired when it is done. This wait you can loading many XML documents at the same time. On a multi-processor configuration it can increase speed. Plus XML has an ability to be used as a free-threaded COM object with does increase speed as well. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Colin Adams" <AdamsC@xxxxxxxx> To: <xsl-list-digest@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, September 26, 2001 4:30 AM Subject: [xsl] XSLT and parallel processing > Is anyone aware of any XSLT processors that make use of parallel processing > to increase speed, or any reasearch in this area? > > > KSS Ltd > A division of Knowledge Support Systems Group plc > Seventh Floor St James's Buildings 79 Oxford Street Manchester M1 6SS England > Company Registration Number 2800886 (Limited) 3449594 (plc) > Tel: +44 (0) 161 228 0040 Fax: +44 (0) 161 236 6305 > mailto:kssg@xxxxxxxx http://www.kssg.com > > > The information in this Internet email is confidential and may be legally privileged.
