You'll find information on subscribing to the Xalan Developer list here: http://xml.apache.org/mail.html Dave Gerry McDonough <gmcdonough@xxxxxxxx> To: "'xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx'" Sent by: <xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> owner-xsl-list@xxxxxxxxxxxx cc: (bcc: David N Bertoni/CAM/Lotus) rytech.com Subject: [xsl] Xalan and String index out of range exception 07/16/2001 03:07 PM Please respond to xsl-list I can't find a Xalan specific forum for posting this question. I hope it is appropriate to post it here. When transforming a Document with fairly large text nodes, between 30K and 40K, Xalan would throw an exception with the message "javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: String index out of range: -40640". I think it is a function of the size, as I have not seen the error since reducing the size of input that forms the text nodes. Are there known size/transformation issues with Xalan? Has anyone else encountered this behavior? Thanks, Gerry XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list XSL-List info and archive: http://www.mulberrytech.com/xsl/xsl-list
