What is "heavy-traffic"... 100-200 hps ? More ?

What is "suitable" ? Is it "suitable" to be five - ten times as slow as
static page ( could be more. I'm surprized with the overhead of
some popular servlet engines ).

Well... I assume we are not going to go into too much
non-XSLT detail so this means we should simplify some things.
( I in fact I doubt there are 2 heavy-traffic websites using the
same architecture ).

So if simplifying some things :

If you're not using caching : I think the answer should be "no".

If you are using caching ( even brutal one, like, for
example, AxKit ) - I think the answer should be : "yes".

Does not really matter, I think.
