XSQL-006: XSLT stylesheet is not well-formed: hello.xsl
XML parse error at line 1, char 1
Start of root element expected.
The stylesheet I give is valid, but the above command line appears to empty out the stylesheet file creating a zero-length file and no output, requiring me to refresh my stylesheet file for the next attempt.
Has anyone else had these problems and can see what I'm doing wrong? I'm sure it must be something simple.
Thanks!

Problems executing Oracle XSQL v1.0.1.0

Yep, got it to work that way this morning Steve, thanks for the note.
I was not so lucky this morning ... I downloaded the ZIP but I needed three files in my directory, not just the one:
Directory of P:\oracle\xsltcurr\bin
00/08/24 11:10 <DIR> . 00/08/24 11:10 <DIR> .. 00/07/11 01:46 1,106,738 xmlparserv2.jar 00/08/04 12:41 200,725 oraclexsql.jar 00/07/31 18:30 8,949 XSQLConfig.xml
For non-java heads, I needed
rem wherever you keep the oracle .jar files set XSQL_HOME=C:\myjava\oracle REM Oracle XML Parser V2 (with XSLT Engine) Archive set CP=%XSQL_HOME%\xmlparserv2.jar; rem %1 = xml file, %2 is stylesheet, %3 is output. java -classpath %CP% oracle.xml.xsql.XSQLCommandLine %1 %2 %3
And I'm still having problems with the following:
X:\samp>jre -cp "p:\oracle\xsltcurr\bin\xmlparserv2.jar;p:\oracle\xsltcurr\bin\oraclexsql.ja r;p:\oracle\xsltcurr\bin\." oracle.xml.xsql.XSQLCommandLine hello.xml hello.xsl t:\hello.htm
Oracle XSQL Command Line Page Processor 1.0.1.0 (Production)
XSQL-006: XSLT stylesheet is not well-formed: hello.xsl
XML parse error at line 1, char 1
Start of root element expected.
The stylesheet I give is valid, but the above command line appears to empty out the stylesheet file creating a zero-length file and no output, requiring me to refresh my stylesheet file for the next attempt.
