Hi,
	I copied wrong, the original was like your Right.
And an additional problem: instead of abcd I must put an attribute called
'name'
When I use substring(./@name <mailto:./@name> ,"a") it doesn't work
Thanx anyway

If it is copy/paste from the real thing and not a typo;

The closing brace } is after the corresponding closing "
Wrong: VALUE="{substring-after("abcd","b")"} />
Right: VALUE="{substring-after("abcd","b")}" />

Isn't computing lovely?
