[2.4] : Data Model (Editorial comments)
Subject: [2.4] : Data Model (Editorial comments) From: "G. Ken Holman" <gkholman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Wed, 09 Sep 1998 20:26:33 -0400 |
(1) Typo - I think the first bullet of the 2.4 introduction should be singular "root node" and not plural, since the fact there is only one is described later, someone seeing this list might think there is more than one. If a future version of the specification allows for multiple input documents, then the plural is appropriate in this list, but then 2.4.1 would need to change to plural and the prose would be along the lines of "... root of a tree ..." (2) Duplicate definition - the last phrase of 2.4.5 reads: "... after whitespace is stripped from both using the process described with the set of whitespace-preserving element types consisting of just xsl:text" Would it be more resilient to future changes in the specification if it read as follows? "... after whitespace is stripped from both using the process described with the set of whitespace-preserving element types being the same set as applies to stylesheets." This will allow the set to be defined once and not have to be re-iterated elsewhere. ............. Ken -- G.
