The element <reasonForUpdate>, within the identification and status section, records the reasons for developing and issuing the data module or the publication module (issue number 001) or the changes made to the data module or publication module since previous issue (ie, issue number 002 upwards). The element <reasonForUpdate> in data modules can be used to generate the highlights data module.
