Re: 12.1 XSL evaluation no longer lazy, now very slow
Hello Adrian -- Sorry for the delay, been sick for a few days. Thanks for the reply. I've been using Oxygen for years now; I forget what version I started with. I've been pretty regular about updating, generally only lagging the official release date by a few weeks at most. Anyway, I've kept the tra...

12.1 XSL evaluation no longer lazy, now very slow
I've been doing some XSLT work for a bit, and have run into some serious speed issues with 12.1. I'm hoping it's just that a default setting value is different now, and that someone can point me to it. SETUP: OxygenXML 12.1 on fully updated Win XP. XSL: The XSL sheets in question define lots of comp...

Re: Using collection() with archives
All good to know, thank you Adrian! I've since found other workarounds for this particular project, but I will keep your insights in mind for future.
Cheers,

Re: Using collection() with archives
Thank you Adrian, that's very informative. A few questions come to mind: Is this archive access feature specific to Oxygen, or is it part of (or at least usable by) the underlying Saxon XSL engine? Will this kind of archive accessibility scheduled for implementation in future? If not, how do I reque...

Using collection() with archives
I'm working on extracting content from MS Excel 2007 format. Ideally, I should be able to work with the archive directly; I can indeed access content without manually unzipping the Excel file first, so that's a good beginning. However, I've run into some challenges when trying to dynamically load *....

Any XSLT transformer requires a well-formed XML document and a valid XSLT stylesheet as inputs. You have to set the name of the CSV file with a parameter to the XSLT stylesheet as you already did with the xsl:param element. Thank you, Sorin. I was wondering if there might be some sort of processor ...

Hi Steve, Oxygen 5.1 does not have this out of the box but you can get that using the XSLT 2.0 support. For instance the following XSLT 2.0 stylesheet (you need to set Saxon8 as transformer): <snip> The tag names, the name of the input file and its encoding can be specified as parameters. Also if y...
