Post by NikNik77771 »

I want to edit MathML like Latex, as in this editor http://www.wiris.com/editor/demo/en/mathml-latex
Do you know such plugin?

Hi,

Just to see that I properly understand the problem, you want the equation to be saved as MathML XML content in the Docbook file but you want to edit it as Latex, right?
From what I know, the Wiris developers will start working on a plugin which will allow Oxygen to edit and render MathML equations using Wiris.
Until then you can probably compose the equation in the Wiris editor and paste it in Oxygen.

Hi,

this is Ramon Eixarch from WIRIS math.

We are working in a Plugin for OXYGEN tools to edit MathML. If you want to edit with LaTeX we are interesting in hearing from you.

Another option is to edit MathML handwriting expressions

I am interested in this also, but everything that I look up online only shows Wiris with the web version of OxygenXML editor. Is it also available as a plug in for the desktop version?

Hi,

very recently WIRIS company has acquired Design Science, makers of MathType and MathFlow.

MathFlow for oXygen allows you to edit math expressions in the desktop version of oXygen. https://www.dessci.com/en/products/math ... oxygen.htm

We are working to make the compatibility between our desktop and web versions the best possible.

Do you plan to combine the use of desktop and web versions of simply use the desktop version?
