Install

  • Run the installation program and follow the instructions.

Run

  • To run the Diff Files application start the diffFiles.exe or diffFiles.bat from the product installation directory.
  • To run the Diff Directories application start the diffDirs.exe or diffDirs.bat from the product installation directory.

Notes

  • Copy to clipboard the license key you have received by email and paste it in the application license dialog.

Requirements

  • Minimum hardware configuration is Intel Pentium III system with 512 MB of RAM (1 GB recommended) and 100 MB free disk space.
  • <oXygen/> XML Diff may work very well with JVM implementations from other vendors but if there are incompatibilities then they will not be fixed in future <oXygen/> XML Diff releases.
  • <oXygen/> XML Diff does not work with the GNU libgcj Java virtual machine.

Instructions

Install

  • After downloading, extract the oxygenXMLDiff.zip archive.
  • A new version of <oXygen/> XML Diff should not be installed in the same folder as a previous version.

Run

  • To run the Diff Files application double-click diffFiles or execute diffFiles.sh from the Terminal.
  • To run the Diff Directories application double-click diffDirs or execute diffDirs.sh from the Terminal.

Notes

  • Runs perfectly on Intel Core Duo Mac systems.
  • The compressed file should be recognized by StuffIt Expander and should automatically be expanded after downloading. If it is not expanded, you can expand it manually using StuffIt Expander 6.0 or later.
  • Copy to clipboard the license key you have received by email and paste it in the application license dialog.
  • With some fonts the cursor will behave unpredictably. It is recommended to use a fixed-size font, such as Monaco. More details can be found here.

  • After downloading open a shell and, cd to the directory where you downloaded the installer.
  • At the prompt type: sh ./oxygenXMLDiff.sh.
  • Another solution is to download and install the "All platforms" distribution.

Run

  • On Windows run diffFiles.bat and diffDirs.bat.

  • The <oXygen/> XML Diff Component is a Java component that can be integrated in a server or desktop application and enhance it with XML differencing capabilities.
  • The SDK (Software Development Kit) contains the necessary Java libraries, the API sources, documentation and samples to get development started.
