The following procedure will remove the <oXygen/> XML Editor plugin from your system. It will not remove the Eclipse platform. If you wish to uninstall Eclipse please see its uninstall instructions. |
Procedure 2.9. Uninstall Procedure
Choose the menu option: Help / Software Update / Manage Configuration and from the list of products select <oXygen/> XML Editor and XSLT Debugger and XSLT Debugger.
Select Disable
Accept the restart of the Eclipse IDE.
Again choose the menu option: Help / Software Update / Manage Configuration and from the list of products select <oXygen/> XML Editor and XSLT Debugger .
Enable Show Disabled Features from the dialog toolbar.
From the right section of the displayed window choose Uninstall.
After the uninstall procedure is complete accept the Eclipse restart.
If you wish to completely remove the application directory and any work saved in it, you will have to delete this directory manually. To remove the application configuration and any personal customizations delete the
%APPDATA%\com.oxygenxmldirectory on Windows (usually %APPDATA% has the value [user-home-dir]\Application Data) /.com.oxygenxmlon Linux from the user home directory.
