Hi,
Thank you Mukul.
I should have thought about castable as.
Thanks for reminding me.
What would be the regex to match QNames? can prefixes also have "-" and digits, etc?

1. a string is a valid potential QName (e.g. match + what regex?, or other
option)
$str castable as xs:QName
2. all strings in a sequence are valid potential QNames
every $x in $str satisfies ($x castable as xs:QName)
