Can't think of any obvious reason for the problem. I'm a bit surprised to
see a Swing class being called from an extension function though; there
could be some kind of problem with methods being called in the wrong order
and the environment not being properly initialized. Or it could simply be
that you're doing filestore access with the wrong current directory set.
